Is this a guy or a girl?19 Jul 2005 01:48 GMT68
Portrait shutterbugs may have a little expertise here; this person has
fabulous lines, though I can't tell for sure if it's a guy or a girl; I
would guess girl, but there are some boldly masculine lines, I would
guess guy, but there are some softly feminine lines.

Canon powershot S60 - DIY LCD Replacement18 Jul 2005 23:25 GMT17
I am about to replace the LCD of my Canon powershot S60. I never did
this, so I request anybody who may know how to. I already bought the
spare LCD at Canon for a fraction of the camera replacement value.
Thank you in advance!

In late afternoon I found myself exercising my FZ20 to take pictures at an
open-air concert an hour before sunset.
The sky was lightly overcast and the stage already in the shadow of
buildings to the west but there was still significant daylight for most of

Sandisk Ultra II 512MB cannot be formatted18 Jul 2005 18:54 GMT3
I have a problem with my new Sandisk Ultra II 512MB CF card, I was
writing onto the CF card via the USB card reader. The software crashed
so I took the card out. I thought nothing was writing onto anymore as
the red led did not blink anymore.
Long Term Digital Storage18 Jul 2005 18:34 GMT17
I'm planning a nine week trip to Germany in the fall, and want to take an
Olympus Camedia with me as a pocket camera of sorts (I will probably also
take a film SLR).  I take lots of pictures and I need a way to download and
store pictures.

Camera having problems - is it the camera or memory card?18 Jul 2005 18:17 GMT2
Recently my digital camera (Olympus, lower end and about 4 years old)
started acting up. It takes pictures, but then when I check the
listing, it may only have one or two of the actual pictures there. So
I'll take ten pictures, and maybe have a couple that really show up.

Does anybody had this problem with the D70s. Tried the reset button

Maxxum 5D. In-body stabalization arrives at the entry level. If
the ergonomics are as good as everyone says the 7D's are it could
be very interesting.
