The contrast range which a sensor will record data in both highlights
and deep shadow is quite narrow compared to what negative film will
record and that in turn is very narrow compared to what the eye can see.
A lot of otherwise nice photos are often lost to either blown ...

I want to obtain prints of about 25 pictures I took recently on a
4-megapixel camera.  This is raising lots of questions.  I hope to find

Just got this camera Olympus C-765, and was happy with it taking
pictures... but accidentaly formatted the XD card ... this stupid
camera does not give you a second prompt before formatting....

I had to fit a new hard drive to my computer.
I installed all my programs - including Photoshop.
My first print from my R200 was very dark - it looked o.k. on the screen.
I swapped to my C86 - the print was normal.

I am getting into digital photography and recently bought a D70 DSLR
with the kit lens (18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 G-AFS ED-IF DX Autofocus Lens).
The question I have is related to the size of the image as I see it
