Photoshop Elements27 Jun 2005 22:39 GMT5
I have recently purchased Photoshop elements 3 and have dicovered the
manual that comes with it is meagre and does not seem to cover basic
editing features like how to eliminate someone from a photo and put
someone else in the photo.  I notice that there are a number of books
700 Olympus C Series 27 Jun 2005 22:36 GMT3
I came from a very basic point and shoot dig camera but I wanted more
options so I purchased a C700 in perfect condition but the manual lacks
detailed help in composing photos using all the detailed camera options
eg:making a basic night shot? I was hoping Olympus would at least ...
Storage27 Jun 2005 22:31 GMT15
Anyone used the ImageTank 20GB portable storage unit?
Are there any other portable storage devices that are better as well as
being cheap?
I'm after something that is easy to use and has a decent amount of battery
Canon S400 Elph27 Jun 2005 18:47 GMT1
Has anyone tried to use a CF Type II (Microdrive) with this camera?  I
use a Type II 1 GB card, and have been getting consistent errors.  It
is not the card, because it works fine on my Oly E-1
Off loading images from digital cameras27 Jun 2005 18:43 GMT10
I have seen several post regarding the off loading of images from
digital cameras while on vacation. Most have suggested buying mini hard
drive type devises, buying extra or larger 'cards' for your camera or
bringing a lap top along.
Hollywood Inciter: Tobe Hooper, George Romero, Neil Gaiman27 Jun 2005 18:32 GMT1
June 26, 2005 - Since the 2003 release of _Toolbox Murders_ it seems like
Tobe Hooper (_Texas Chain Saw Massacre_) is ready to give up TV sitcoms and
horror anthologies and return to film-making. Your Inciter has confirmed that
talks are ongoing between Hooper and zombie master ...
Good card reader?27 Jun 2005 17:34 GMT9
I'm getting very annoyed at the performance of my current card readers. I
now have 3, and none seem to work consistently. This is what I'm seeing on
each:
1. Internal generic card reader in floppy bay, with front USB ports: The
Can't Upload Pics From Toshiba PDR3300 Camera27 Jun 2005 17:13 GMT1
This may be an XP problem, but I have to ask-----
I have two machines both XP with one SP1 and one SP2.  The camera is a
Toshiba PDR3300 (USB).
The SP2 machine automatically detects the camera and uploading works
view as "filmstrip" in windows explorer27 Jun 2005 14:49 GMT2
In windows I like to view photos in filmstrip mode, but sometimes this
option isn't listed - so I can't select it.  Why is it missing sometimes and
how do I bring it back?
a/c adapter for Olympus C-808027 Jun 2005 13:06 GMT6
Bought the C-8080 few days ago and am looking to buy an A/C adapter
C-8AC.  It is harder to find than I had expected. In any case, I am
wondering if it is worthwhile to buy such thing especially I don't use
the camera in a studio setting.
Perspective correction problem27 Jun 2005 13:00 GMT3
I need to adjust photos of documents that are taken at an angle so that
I have an accurate flat image. I have Paint Shop Pro 4.14 and PhotoShop
Elements 2.0 but either do a great job dealing with perspective
adjustment. Both stretch near image elements and shorten far ones. For
S2 or FZ2027 Jun 2005 11:42 GMT1
A simple question (and please don't try to read read between the lines or
read more into it).
Take away the bells and whistles and using the cameras best settings, what
one takes the best photo at extreme telephoto the Canon S2 or the Panasonic
Leica R Digital module 27 Jun 2005 09:46 GMT17

newbie: editing .mov files from kodak camera27 Jun 2005 09:39 GMT5
My kodak camera produces .mov files. Cam someone please recommend some
(shareware priced!) software I can use to edit these files?
If it can handle the sound too that'd be great.
The video editing software I've found so far doesn't mention .mov files as a

I just bought a  Hewlett Packard Photosmart 945 ($249).
