Pansonic DMC LC-1: Anyone using this model? Your opinions please.02 Jun 2005 16:04 GMT2
I am on the verge of buying this model. I have read a number of
reviews and reports but I would like to hear from users of this
camera. On the face of it, it sounds ideal for what I need it for.
But magazine reports are one thing, info from regular user are

Where would be a good place to post about digital camera repair?  So
far, I have photo.net, but it is less technical than I a looking for.
Thanks.

Transferring Digital photos from a DVD+Rw disc to a VCR02 Jun 2005 14:58 GMT1

The photos came up Black & white. What am I doing wrong?

Olympus EVOLT E-300 Digital SLR?02 Jun 2005 14:02 GMT7
Interested in hearing the Pro's & Con's of the Olympus EVOLT E-300 DSLR.
With it's 14~45mm lens, this seems like the ideal zoom for digital.  Added
to that, it's claimed, "Dust Free" design, I would that this would be a very
popular DSLR.  Although I don't see much about it.  Is ...
Help Canon Powershot Pro 1 lense freezes shut02 Jun 2005 13:58 GMT2
I've just arrived from Greece and Turkey and was unable to take photos
because after taking a few shots, my lense FROZE shut. I could hear the
servo-motor going but the camera wasn't shutting down. I had to take the
battery out.

iPod photo and digital camera02 Jun 2005 13:10 GMT2
I am still not completely clear on the camera adapter.  Will I be able
to take pictures directly onto the iPod (using the iPod in place of a
CF card)?  I use a Fuji S2 and having a 60GB 'memory card' would be
very nice.  Is this how it works, or do I have to transfer the pictures
Best mail-order large prints?02 Jun 2005 07:11 GMT3
I know a million places to get regular prints.  But I have an image
that I'd like to get a large (20x30) print from.  Where should I go for
that?
Thanks!

I've been looking at the Nikon D70 for the better part of a year. My
wife has finally given an OK to purchase one. Imagine my surprise to
see the D70s and D50 available. Since these new ones are available I
checked to see what the "old" D70 is going for. Wolfcamera.com:

Can't decide between the Canon EOS 1DsMk11, the Nikon D2X, or the Sigma SD1002 Jun 2005 06:00 GMT27
Which one should I go for, I wonder?
Is there by any chance -  although highly unlikely I know -  amongst you a
wise and learned man, maybe someone who is intimately acquainted with all
things Sigma, a prophet not recognised in his own land, who might make up my

Velvia Vision - over the top??02 Jun 2005 03:10 GMT6
When I shot film, I used to like Velvia, so now I switched to digital,
I was interested to come across Fred Miranda's Velvia Vision plugin
