Sony DSCS85 DC Adapter04 Jun 2005 04:55 GMT6
My daughter has a Sony DSCS85 4.1 camera with a NP-FM50 InfoLithium
Battery.  She uses the AC L10 charger (supplied with the camera) to
charge the internal battery.  The battery is not removable for
charging.

Smugmug vs. Flickr04 Jun 2005 02:27 GMT4
These two online photo sharing sites seem to be getting the brunt of
the news coverage for a good reason. They are the best. Since many
people, including myself have been wondering about the differences I
have wrote a short review of them on my blog. I've included the
Looks like Kodak has another loser on their hands04 Jun 2005 02:04 GMT27
The company that has found so many creative ways to lose money since they
killed the Instamatic - their cash cow - to prevent it from eating anyone
else's hay, has now given up on their professional DSLR.

Computer progam?04 Jun 2005 01:53 GMT4
I use XP. Which cheap/free program would allow me easily to cut an image
from in front of a solid background and paste it into another picture like
they do with blue or green screens in the movies?  Thank you.

Is digital zoom a static feature of any given camera, or is it
something that can be changed or disabled?

Fix magenta in E-300??04 Jun 2005 01:06 GMT6
I find that greens photographed by my Oly E-300 have a very slight
magenta cast. Otherwise, all other colors seem very accurate.
Does anyone have any experience with this, and tips on what to do? Any
in-camera adjustments that would help? I can generally fix up with PE
Most 35mm format lenses can't cover 35mm full frame DSLR?04 Jun 2005 00:25 GMT8
I am looking forward to the full frame 35mm DSLR.
Recently I heard that most high performance 35mm lenses did not keep
their reputation when used on digital body. How true is this? What is
"most"? > 50%? <50%? Is it true that the prime lenses are more so
Stoopid question about flash memory03 Jun 2005 23:25 GMT9
I am planning on buying my first digital camera, a Canon Powershot
A510.  It says I can use either SD or MMC memory with it. I will
obviously buy a bigger card than the 16 MB one that comes with it. It
seems like there's not a big difference between MMC and SD. Once I do
Photoshop Elements 3 and Mozilla Thunderbird03 Jun 2005 23:19 GMT1
When I want to email photos (reduced) from my PSE 3 Organizer, the only
email clients available to me is Outlook, Outlook Express, or Adobe
Mail Service. I'd like to use my primary email software Mozilla
Thunderbird (so I can view my sent file easily).
