The following was stated in Tim Grey's DDQ for setting a 20D to capture an image to mimic Velvia. The Magic Lantern Guide for Canon's EOS20D says that with this camera it's possible to "Create a Velvia (an intensely colored slide film look) --

My main camera is an Olympus C-720, which has an EVF. For a lot of reasons - visibility in bright light, powerful zoom but no image stabilization being the main ones - I much prefer to use the viewfinder, vs. taking a picture using the lcd.

Having just adopted two kittens, I have been thinking about a new digital camera for taking kitten pictures. I already have an Olympus C-3030Z and a Canon S110, and although they are both fine cameras, they are also seriously flawed in comparison to my film SLR cameras.

Why would they move from SD to CF? Particularly when SD is stagnant at 1GB and CF cards (including microdrives) are available for cheap upto 5-6GB and growing. - Siddhartha

Question about the DX7630. I've got a friend who just bought this camera. He found that, when the camera is powered on, the lens cap will automatically pop off if left on. Is this a safe practice? I suggested checking the manual but he found no verbage
