From a few photos that I have taken I have come to the conclusion that my sensor could have some dust on it.. What is the best colour back ground to check to see if the sensor is dirty or not? and have people had much luck in removing dust from the sensor?

Hmm, am switching to a 20" iMac (panther) and it seems I am to be deprived of Irfanview and JpegSizer *gloom*. I use Irfanview a lot for quick resizing - does anyone know of any similar mac-compatable stuff? Transferring files to the pc is the obvious workround but it's a laptop

I just purchased the 8800 and have taken many shots, some better then others. i saw some prints taken with the d70 and they are so much more sharper. I still have enought time to return the 8800. I keep telling myself that once i get the controls right on the 8800, iwill be happy

OK, now I am making images with a Nikon D2x and an Epson 4800 (A2 prints (16x20 inches)). And I'll tell you, I could never make anything in 35mm which came close to this quality. And I was much better than most, I know that from contests and clubs. This just sings. Awesome.

I know you can change ISO settings(100,200,400,800, etc.), but can you switch between color and black&white? Or is this only done on the PC afterwards? Also, since it's possible to just make a pic brighter on the PC,

hi, when im using the cloning tool ,example. i took a group shot in front of a backdrop ,after croping i need to fill in areas the don't have back drop , some larger and smaller . i always get the + symbol to the right of the tool where i am cloning

I have an Olympus Stylus 400 Digital (Point and Shoot) (4 MP) camera. Have had it about a year and a half. My question: Can I reset the brightness and also reset the resolution and "save" the settings? Every time I turn off the camera, then turn it on

I have two Olympus cameras (E1 and E300) and have only tried RAW a few times on each, using PSCS to do the conversions. Anyone using a different program and feeling their results/ease if use were better than they got out of PS utility? Thanks
