EOS350D Sensor Cleaning11 Jun 2005 16:08 GMT1
From a few photos that I have taken I have come to the conclusion that my
sensor could have some dust on it.. What is the best colour back ground to
check to see if the sensor is dirty or not?
and have people had much luck in removing dust from the sensor?

Seeking Mac compatable IrfanView-a-like11 Jun 2005 15:25 GMT3
Hmm, am switching to a 20" iMac (panther) and it seems I am to be
deprived of Irfanview and JpegSizer *gloom*. I use Irfanview a lot for
quick resizing - does anyone know of any similar mac-compatable stuff?
Transferring files to the pc is the obvious workround but it's a laptop
Nikon 8800 vs D7011 Jun 2005 14:31 GMT14
I just purchased the 8800 and have taken many shots, some better then

myself that once i get the controls right on the 8800, iwill be happy
quality images, duuude11 Jun 2005 11:42 GMT3
OK, now I am making images with a Nikon D2x and an Epson 4800 (A2
prints (16x20 inches)). And I'll tell you, I could never make anything
in 35mm which came close to this quality. And I was much better than
most, I know that from contests and clubs. This just sings. Awesome.

I know you can change ISO settings(100,200,400,800, etc.),
but can you switch between color and black&white?
Or is this only done on the PC afterwards?
Also, since it's possible to just make a pic brighter on the PC,

Feedback on Canon EF-S 10-22mm Lens for Taking Pictures of Circuit Boards11 Jun 2005 03:59 GMT9
I posted recently about an application taking pictures of circuit
boards with a digital camera, that required the pictures to have

I have an Olympus Stylus 400 Digital (Point and Shoot) (4 MP) camera.  Have
had it about a year and a half.
My question:  Can I reset the brightness and also reset the resolution and
"save" the settings?  Every time I turn off the camera, then turn it on
Recommendation for RAW program11 Jun 2005 01:28 GMT74
I have two Olympus cameras (E1 and E300) and have only tried RAW a few times
on each, using PSCS to do the conversions. Anyone using a different program
and feeling their results/ease if use were better than they got out of PS
utility? Thanks
