Nikon CoolPix 2100 replacement ( AA NiMH batteries & Compact Flash)?16 Jun 2005 21:50 GMT4
I'd get another Nikon CoolPix if it weren't for the lack of flash
memory (otherwise it's a great camera for my needs).
Do you know offhand of a similar sized camera (pocket sized) which uses
the same compact flash cards and AA batteries?
canon 20D tethered operation?16 Jun 2005 21:21 GMT6
Does the Canon 20D allow 'tethered' operation from a PC via USB?
If so, what are the functions that can be remotely controlled?
Can images be sucked in immediately to the PC?
Thanks
Smithsonian S-House Photo Draws Apology16 Jun 2005 21:09 GMT6

and hope this is the end of the story because, quite frankly,
I am running out of Bandwidth.)
What speed is OK for a digital camera flash card16 Jun 2005 20:02 GMT14
What speed is "just OK" for a digital camera flash card?
Based on the recent threads here, I've decided to buy a Canon S2 IS but
that means I need to buy a new set of SD 1GB flash cards.
When I look them up, I see various speeds, e.g., 32x, 45x, 60x, 66x,
How to repair 1mm of latch plastic on Nikon CoolPix AA battery door16 Jun 2005 18:54 GMT6
Is anyone else missing 1mm of battery door latch on your Nikon CoolPix
camera?
How did you repair this fragile latch?
I just love my Nikon CoolPix 2100 because it uses two AA batteries and
Sigma EF500 DG Super Flash - Hints & Ideas ?16 Jun 2005 17:40 GMT1
Anyone know of any online help to make the most of this flash ? I just
received it yesterday, fitted it onto the D70 and all works well. The
manual is very basic but I'm sure there is far more one can do with this
flash. Most of my flash photography was done at weddings ... circa ...
Off camera flash doesn't work on my Oly C70016 Jun 2005 17:40 GMT2
I bought the "FL-CB04" flash cord that is supposed to be compatible with
my Oly C700 UZ and thought everything would work fine.
The trouble is that it doesn't trip the strobe at all. Is there an
internal setting that I have to change ?

Princo CD-R discs problem?16 Jun 2005 15:00 GMT7
I recently brought a pack of 50 Princo discs that were marked A1.
I was told that the A1 discs were an improvement on the older princo
discs.
So far 4 out of 8 discs were faulty.
Oly C7070 (C5060?)16 Jun 2005 07:02 GMT7
It seems the C5060 isn't hardly available. The C7070 looks like a good
deal. Any comments on this? One of the criteria is wide angle and these
are preferred over the more heavy/bulky C8080 though that's a sweet
machine. I guess Oly is going out of the P&S business so these are

Just got mine and am doing some minor menu tweakage.  Which color mode
should I go with, and what are the differences between Ia)sRGB and
IIIa)sRGB?  And the difference between those two and AdobeRGB?
Thanks,

Printer Choices ??16 Jun 2005 04:51 GMT7
Trying to decide between an Epson R1800, R2400 or 4800
realistically the R1800 fits my budget better and I see the R1800
has better resolution than the 4800 plus will print to CD's any real
reason I should consider either of the other two instead?
