Sigma 18-125 vs Tamron 18-20017 Jun 2005 19:20 GMT2
Has anyone done a comparison between these two lenses ? I'm more than

Sigma here in South Africa for the same price I paid for it but ...

suggestions...

Best camera setting for photographing a parade17 Jun 2005 08:29 GMT16
What would be the best camera setting for photographing a parade?
I was thinking of setting the camera to the sports setting (icon of a
golfer) as there is movement in the parade (speed is at walking pace)
and the camera need to re-focus a lot. The only problem is if it's a

brightness/luminance near the edges). My photo editing software is Paint
Shop Pro 8 but it doesn't have any option for this.  Are there any
plug-ins available that will let me do this correction?  Also, I haven't
Into the past...17 Jun 2005 02:32 GMT10

Tripod with Extension Arm16 Jun 2005 23:00 GMT13
Does anyone other than Benbo make a tripod that has an extension arm,
allowing the camera to move away from the center post, ala, Benbo Trekker?
I am looking for a tripod to hold my digital camera for some macro
photography and the majority of the shots will be down to the subject ...
