What camera trickery could  I use to make objects appear larger than they really are?18 Jun 2005 16:28 GMT17
What camera trickery could  I use to make objects appear larger than they
really are?  Other than using the zoom, is there anything else I can do?
Say I wanted to take a picture of a coin and I wanted it to look even bigger
than it is.  Are there any other settings I could use to ...
WB - Tungsten ---> Daylight ?18 Jun 2005 15:51 GMT8
I messed up today. Last night I was copying old photos with two tungsten
lamps and never reset the camera WB ( D70 ) afterwards. Spent the
whole day photographing old buildings, the kids, landscapes etc and the
whole lot is a gorgeous shade of blue. All are in jpg format.

Sony Handycam DVD202E question18 Jun 2005 14:59 GMT2
I have formatted my mini DVD as video format, finalised it, and now I
can see all the BUP IFO and VOB files on the computer.  At some point in
the future I would like to make a compilation to a traditional sized
DVD, but for now I could do with re-using the mini DVD as I don't ...
Epson 4800 Questions18 Jun 2005 14:36 GMT22
I've been thinking of upgrading my printer and one I have my eyes on is the
Epson 4800.  I am literally salivating over it from what I have read, though
when I heard about the size of this thing I was shocked, but I will make
room for it if it is something I should have.  I have ...

How much does it cost Canon to ship bad batteries & flash cards?18 Jun 2005 06:14 GMT9
How much does it cost the camera manufacturer to ship the nearly
useless alkaline batteries and tiny flash cards with their cameras?
Case in point, I'm pricing cameras that have AA batteries and compact
flash cards and every camera I find comes with alkaline batteries and a
Fuji F10 / Canon SD300 (Another Dazed and Confused P&S Tyre Kicker)18 Jun 2005 04:58 GMT11
Could any Fujifilm F10 user's clear up a couple of minor points
regarding operation of this camera?
I am considering purchasing this beast as most of the reviews I've read
seem positive -- I guess you could summarise them as -- great

The only thing which is missing now is a live histogram in record mode.
I also wonder if this LCD screen is swiveling.
Best digital camera for video?17 Jun 2005 22:40 GMT10
What's the best digital camera for video clips? I've often seen posts
telling people to get a digital camcorder instead, but I'm not interested in
making long films. I just want to take short clips to document various
aspects of my daily life.
Kodak EasyShare software: searching, importing17 Jun 2005 22:18 GMT11
A local organization is using EasyShare software for their small photo
collection. I installed it to try to get an idea of what I was up
against in sending them photos and helping them manage their
collection. Couple of questions:
Using QuickTime player with a multi-card reader17 Jun 2005 20:52 GMT2
Ever since I installed one of these 7-in-1 memory card readers in my
