| Seeing the Shot | 19 Jun 2005 12:19 GMT | 5 |
All digital cameras take pictures, but are the pictures any good? I find the biggest issue with picture taking is 'seeing the shot' sometimes called 'composition'. Over the years I have been training myself to 'see the shot' and have had moderate success. I now know that a really ...

| 1 gb XD card | 19 Jun 2005 10:27 GMT | 4 |
I just got an Olympus Ultra-zoom 765 and was planning on buying one of the new XD 1gb cards, but I was told that the 770 had trouble with these cards. Does anyone have any experience with the larger cards in this camera or should I just stick to the 512's.

is there any way to convert Canon 350D RAW files (.CR2, that is) into 16-bit-TIFFs that can be read e. g. by earlier 16-bit-capability software such as Picture Publisher/Image? A pal of mine has the 350D but the in-box converting software, when set

| 20D flash | 19 Jun 2005 07:29 GMT | 6 |
I recently upgraded from an Oly C4040 to a 20D. I have noticed when taking pictures inside the house using the full auto modes with the 20D the flash is not that bright, the white walls are more of a yellow color. When using the C4040 the flash is much brighter and the white walls ...

| Question About H.P. Printer Ink Usage | 19 Jun 2005 06:21 GMT | 8 |
I recently put a new #57 and a new # 58 color ink cartridges into my H.P. 7960 printer, and printed about 60 4x6" color pictures. At that point, the printer's red light blinked, and the LCD screen said that the ink in both cartridges is low, and should be replaced soon, or the ...

| Digital Liquidators | 19 Jun 2005 05:38 GMT | 7 |
Does anyone have any experience buying digital cameras from Digital Liquidators? Their prices on certain units are way, way lower that most others. I'm just wondering if this is one of those "If it's seems to good to be true....." situations.

| E10/view black | 19 Jun 2005 02:18 GMT | 8 |
Urgent problem: both viewers are black (pictures as well). All other functions work: e.g. exposure measuring, display photos and uploading photos. Probably a case for the repair shop.

Are there any difference in quality with Quantaray, Tamron, Sigma or other brands VS Cannon? Quality VS price? Anything I should generally stay away from. Thanks in advance for any comments and advice. Robert

| Accura Slide Duplicator adapter? | 18 Jun 2005 20:37 GMT | 4 |
I just picked up an Accura Slide Duplicator. I measured the threads, and they appear to be 44.12mm. I would like to use it on my digicam and was wondering if anyone knows the actual thread size and how I would adapt it to the 52mm lens adapter on my Canon G6?

| LCD in sunlight | 18 Jun 2005 20:09 GMT | 19 |
In desperation today I grabbed a kitchen roll to view the LCD screen on my Coolpix 995, and was surprised at how effective it was. Just the right length, nice and soft at both ends, and I could wander about with it pressed against my eye quite comfortably with both hands free.
