help: Problems of Nikon SB800 flash on Nikon D7024 Jun 2005 15:38 GMT2
Hi I bought a new SB800 to use on my D70. I found the following
problems. I went through the manual and cannot find solutions:
1) The "power zoom" of the flash is always canceled even though I set
it to "ON" in custom settings. The little "M" is always on the SB800
scanning negatives at what size file and what resolution?24 Jun 2005 13:59 GMT7
I have about 25 negatives taken with a good Nikon several years ago.  I
would like to have them professionally scanned so that I can work on
them in Photoshop and eventually, perhaps, print some of them - 8x10,
maybe 12x14 or something along those lines would be the largest I ...
newbie:  Panorama question24 Jun 2005 13:34 GMT4
Can anyone recommend easy-to-use panorama software?  Thanks.

NiMh batteries pop out24 Jun 2005 09:08 GMT3
Trying to charge new batteries and after a couple of minutes they and the
charger jumped off the wall. Happened twice.
I would blame the new batteries but it happened with older ones too on one
occasion.
Ping Gregory Blank - the shot you wanted (P&S digital resolution)24 Jun 2005 07:47 GMT7
Well, sort of.
I wasn't comfortable taking enough shots because I was in a hurry and
there was a half-naked chick sunbathing nearby (she was sitting in the
grass and I could only see that she was wearing a tiny bra or bikini
New to digital photography. 24 Jun 2005 05:21 GMT2
A simple and probably stupid question. Can I use the same type of
filters which I used with both black & white film and colour with a
digital camera? (Canon EOS 350D).
Thanks
Followup On Canon Repair Service24 Jun 2005 05:20 GMT3
In a previous post, I talked about how Canon was nice enough to
repair the cracked LCD on my son's SD-200 at no charge.  However,
when they returned it, the case had been poorly reassembled and
was dented in several places...plus the camera didn't work.  I
Nikon Capture 424 Jun 2005 05:04 GMT4
Anyone else notice Capture 4 taking a ridiculous amount of time to
load/render each NEF? I have a good workstation with 1GB of RAM, but it
still takes what seems like almost a minute for an image to load. Now that I
have a new 12MP D2X, this is NOT an efficient operation. Any
Nikon S1 or S224 Jun 2005 04:43 GMT3
Anyone have any experience with the Nikon S1, or thoughts on the new Nikon
S2?
TIA!
That perfect (gulp) picture!!24 Jun 2005 02:35 GMT13
Sorry folks I have nothing to show you but I have a question, I will
admit that I am slowly changing (after seeing some of the pictures
here) from claiming to being the absolute backyard photographer and
that excellence meant nothing to me, a good picture yes but I have not
Minus-Violet filters24 Jun 2005 02:08 GMT4
Do these lens filters sharpen up digital pix??
Seems they would eliminate the chromatic distortion (violet fringing) so
common to many
digi-cameras.
Changing lenses on D70 while ON24 Jun 2005 01:00 GMT4
I have had my D70 for about a month, and I love it.  I noticed today
that the manual says to change lenses only when the camera is turned
off.  I must admit that I sometimes change lenses without turning off
the camera.  Is this a problem?
Photos Of Coast Line In The UK Not Allowed24 Jun 2005 00:39 GMT188
I recently visited a public footpath along a coast line of the UK, however,
there were signs saying that commercial photography was not permitted
without permission.
Strangely enough, I also visited a Monkey rescue centre very near by, and
