Sony DSC-P200 or DSC-W726 May 2005 17:13 GMT1
I am having a difficult time determining if their are any mechancial
feature differences between the two Sony models.  Does anyone know if
the larger DSC-W7 have an advantage over it's smaller brother?  How do
either compare to a Canon SD500?  Your help is greatly appreciated.
RE: LCD VGA or SCART ?26 May 2005 17:05 GMT2
I've just noticed that the new LCD monitor has a Scart connector as well
as the usual VGA one. My video card, an nVidia FX 5200 only has a VGA
and a composite ( circular ? ) connection. Would it be worthwhile
upgrading the video card ? Games are not an issue ( only got Flight Sim ...

computer adequate?26 May 2005 12:57 GMT39
I brought a Toshiba laptop 2 years ago and happily used it until last week
when I also brought a film scanner and connected the two together.  I am
generally a patient person, BUT I just can't handle the wait for the
computer to process the scan.  The scanner itself scans fine, ...
Great LCD protector26 May 2005 12:32 GMT18
Someone posted the site for daproducts here a few days ago, and I went ahead
and ordered one of their LCD protectors.  This is a great product that
really protects your LCD screen, and they come is many sizes.  I just put
one on a small Pentax Optio.

What you all have been waiting for: my Sigma testimonial26 May 2005 11:19 GMT1
Within 12 hours of purchasing a Sigma SD10, my body began to heal
itself. The levels of blood sugar and adrenaline declined rapidly, and
my ears and brain began to repair the damage from D70 mirrorslap-induced
tinnitus. But those are just the immediate rewards. Long-term benefits ...
Fragile LCD Screen?26 May 2005 07:36 GMT9
My son was traveling with his 3-month old Canon SD200 digital
camera in the top of his carry-on bag (returning from Iraq on
leave).  He discovered that the LCD screen quit functioning.
It looks like something pushed on the screen and caused spider-

Epson printers and black only?26 May 2005 02:12 GMT4
Today I was reading an article on the web about black and white digital
photography. The author prints in 'black only' mode using his Epson 2200
injet. My R200 doesn't appear to have that setting and when I use
'grayscale' in advanced settings I still tend to get a majenta cast - I ...

Sony DSC-P200 and Memory Stick speed26 May 2005 00:45 GMT1
After searching for a portable camera to take fast pics of a newborn
baby, I decided on Sony DSC-P200.  I decided on Sony because I own a
DSC-707, and 5 Memory Stick cards.
My question is:  Will a Memory Stick compromise the potential speed
Canon Customer Service - Bravo!25 May 2005 23:58 GMT1
Too many times we hear about lousy customer service/repair issues, but I had
a good one with Canon. It's with my video camera but I thought I'd post it
here because I think the experience just sold me on a new Powershot G6!
Our OPtura 20 videocam went out on us at the 19 month mark, ...
