| Coolpix 7900 Electronic vibration reduction | 03 May 2005 01:36 GMT | 3 |
I recently looked at some review about this Nikon camera. One feature that I find very interesting is the Electronic Vibration Reduction (I understand it as an optical image stabilizer) in movie mode. I have not seen a video sample that seems to be stabilized (the one on ...

| Canon a95 not sharp enough? | 03 May 2005 01:12 GMT | 8 |
I am new to digital photography. After much research, I determined that the Canon a95 (5MP) was the best camera for me in my price range. The main problem I am having is that the pictures aren't sharp enough, or at least they are not as sharp as I think they should be - even the "in ...

| Olympus D-540 compatible with RCR-V3 batteries? | 03 May 2005 00:08 GMT | 7 |
We have the aforementioned camera, and are looking for a rechargeable battery system to use with it. It supports the CR-V3 lithium cells, but Olympus tech support says that they've not tested it with the rechargeable version, the RCR-V3, and that I'd be on my own. The latter

I am trying to use Exifer to add data to JPEG files. Specifically I'm trying to add Author and Comments. I don't understand enough about this to know the difference between the two kinds of comments but I have tried both and nothing I add shows up in the Windows XP properties ...

| If Gary Burnore was in a car accident he'd describe all the teenage girls at the scene | 02 May 2005 19:56 GMT | 6 |
Eyewitnesses tend to inject cultural or social or sexual bias in how they perceive traumatic events. I see black people, the psychic sees dead people, and Gary sees underrage slutty teenage girls.

| Over explosed parts of a digital photo? | 02 May 2005 18:51 GMT | 16 |
I took a photo of some white geese being fed but as the background was dark the features of the geese were not shown due to over exposure. Most of the geese appeared pure white. Is there any setting on a digital camera to help overcome this

| FZ5 ... first impressions | 02 May 2005 18:37 GMT | 17 |
Arrived two days ago, so this is preliminary: 1/ Very small and light but too big for most pockets. 2/ Easy to use but the menus are a bit tedious. 3/ IS works well, even at full zoom.

| Canon EOS 300D camera - what is Program shift | 02 May 2005 17:03 GMT | 5 |
I noticed in the function availability table for the Canon EOS 300D that when the camera is in the P mode (Program AE) there is a Program shift option (grouped under exposure heading). I don't see any reference to "Program shift" in the camera manual.

| What's The Biggest CF I Can Use For My SIGMA SD-9? | 02 May 2005 16:34 GMT | 8 |
I've seen some CF's advertised saying to make sure your camera can handle FAT32. Can't find anything in the SD-9's owner's manual about this. Anyone know? I want to get the HITACHI Pexagon MD4GBBP 4GB MicroDrive 3K4.

| Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z5 low light | 02 May 2005 15:21 GMT | 4 |
I'm on the way to decide to buy a km z5 and I have read many reviews (too much!) I would like to hear some advice from somebody who already own it. Expecially about soft images at default settings, noise levels a little above average expecially working at iso320, and poor low light ...

| DX3700 Fault | 02 May 2005 15:00 GMT | 7 |
I have an elderly Kodak DX3700 that has developed a fault. Kodak want oodles of money before they'll even look at it. As I only use it for photographing ebay stuff I'll probably take it apart and see if anything obvious is amiss.
