multi function printers04 May 2005 16:58 GMT8
Any recommend reasonable multi function unit around the £100 - £150 mark?
Looking at the  HP PSC 2355, seems to be ok. The only thing was ink and
relative costs of different brands. Also do these sorts of printers
generally have to leave a boarder on prints?
Macro/micro Again!04 May 2005 11:11 GMT10
Given the 1.5 ratio in the Nikon D70 am I correct in assuming that the
closest focusing distance for macro lenses (Nikkor 105mm or Tamron 90mm)
will  increase. i.e. say the Nikkor gives 1:1 at 12" on 35mm will it be 1:1
at 1'6" on the D70?

1.3 crop 12MP canon this fall04 May 2005 04:46 GMT12
This will be waiting in the wings to compete with Nikon D200 when it (if it) gets
released.
Poor nikon this is what happens when they become complacent and rely on Sony for
sensors.
batteries, accomodate both04 May 2005 03:14 GMT13
Given the way modern cameras process their battery voltages
there is no reason why, (space savings aside), a
mfgr can't allow for both AA cells, my fav, and
Li batteries.  It appears the Li battery is a rectangle.
Canon i960 colors are all wrong!04 May 2005 02:36 GMT9
I just bought three new Canon ink tanks for my i960. When I print a
particular photo that has a grayish blue background, it's mostly bright
mint green instead, and of course the skin tones are greenish. My photo
is color corrected to look very realistic, and looks beautiful on
Zoom lens for Dad...04 May 2005 02:04 GMT9
My father has the Nikon D70 camera. He's looking for a fairly good priced
Zoom (tele-photo) lens. If he's about 30 feet away...he wants the subject to
be almost or near normal picture distance. Is there a particular
specification he should be looking for? I am not familair with ...
Would YOU fight in Iraq? I wouldn't04 May 2005 01:54 GMT224
What's the point? The US will never have control of the country. Best
case scenario is the occupation turns into a California-sized
factional equivalent of Beirut. Marines couldn't control Beirut so
what makes anyone think american armed forces can control the whole of
D70 EXIF data PS304 May 2005 01:46 GMT1
Under 'File Info' (Camera 1, Camera 2) in PSE3 some of the D70 EXIF data,
is missing, except for the NEF files data.
In Organizer-Photo Browser the full data is there for all files.
Does the same thing hold for other cameras or is it just
Why Exposure Bracket Digital Photos?04 May 2005 00:34 GMT18
Hi.. What is the point in exposure bracketing with digital, when it can be
easily done on PC (unless the highlights/lowlights are blown out).

Digital Rebel goes 5x life size Cheap!03 May 2005 19:52 GMT23
Using lenses you may already have, You can get about 5x life size with
little effort and great quality. If you did not have any of the equipment,
it shouldn't cost over $150 to purchase.
