| Help with flash off | 05 May 2005 06:53 GMT | 4 |
I have a canon a80 and really like it since I bought it last year. I would like to know if someone can tell me why the camera takes unfocused shots when I shut the flash off? In daylight and within range I am very happy, but when I am shooting at a lighted stage, daughters play ...

| smart erase or missing background generator? | 05 May 2005 06:28 GMT | 4 |
Sometimes I need to erase an object and fill in the background like a piece of floor, or a piece of sky. It's very tedious to do it with clone stamp. Is there some sort of plug-in that would perform a human assisted pattern generation to fill in missing pieces especially if it's a ...

| Questions on IPTC information | 05 May 2005 02:31 GMT | 9 |
Up to now, I have been using Canon Zoombrowser (ver. 3). I often use the "photo title" in order so save some information on the pictures. Newer versions of the Zoombrowser don't show this information completely anymore and I have no confidence in its database that is not "standard". ...

| Another Zoom thread.... | 04 May 2005 23:14 GMT | 19 |
I know marketing kind of changes things around for companies to make more money and will sell one thing and then change the name and sell it again for a different product. Is this what is going on when camera/lens makers call lenses different names?

| Canon EOS 300D - steady camera for slow shutter speeds. | 04 May 2005 22:35 GMT | 18 |
The Canon EOS 300D seems to be very steady for low light photos. I've photographed a room in low light conditions at 1/13th shutter speed and enlarged the photo to check for camera shake. I also photographed a page of a A4 sized map in low light using ISO

| Nikon D2x: Review by Thom Hogan | 04 May 2005 20:58 GMT | 6 |
http://www.bythom.com/d2xreview.htm Seems to be a very balanced judgement. I hadn't realized the colour processing was 16 bit per colour. Everybody else seems to be 12 bit. Except Sony who are 14 bit.

I've gotten intrigued with the 360 degree VR photographs. How do you accomplish them? What do you need? Can they be done with a camera like a Canon A95?

| Storage device for digital pictures rather than buying multiple cards? | 04 May 2005 20:28 GMT | 11 |
I'm looking for a device where you could store digital pictures rather than having to buy a bunch of cards for the camera. In other words, if you were traveling with your digital camera and did not have a laptop at your disposal..... is there something on the

| Need telescope mount for a Fuji S7000 | 04 May 2005 18:40 GMT | 3 |
I was hoping someone here could help me find a mount/bracket to mount my Fuji S7000 to my Meade telescope. Since the S7000 has an extending barrel, I can't simply use an adapter ring and screw it right onto the viewfinder barrel on the scope.
