Thanks for your replies to my "Shift Program" question

On my Canon EOS 300D there are parameter settings to change the
Contrast, sharpness, Saturation and colour tone.

Supports for camera and long lens05 May 2005 18:52 GMT2
I used to have a catalog for a firm that made and sold a variety of
support options for cameras using long lenses, but I cannot locate it.
Can somebody suggest sources for supports like this? The camera itself
with a long lens is not a convenient package to handle for
20D DOES VIDEO !!!05 May 2005 18:10 GMT23
An earlier thread had some links to cool uses
of the Canon 20D as a camcorder.  I did some

Thanks to all who helped - one more question05 May 2005 17:22 GMT7
Thanks to those who gave me some ideas on what to look for in an
intermediate range camera.  Now, the $64 question, which is all
features and functions being equal, what brand would you recommend?
Canon seems to be the pre-eminent manufacturer of digital cameras, and
Elements cropping question05 May 2005 16:02 GMT7
I haven't figured out how to do this, but I've needed it a lot.

So if my target is a 4" by 6" paper, I want to select length or width,
and crop with the proper ratio.  I've had to resort to using the rulers

View angle on Pentax *ist DS compared to a 35mm camera05 May 2005 12:15 GMT5
I'm studying the *ist DS manual and I came across the section where
they describe that the view angle, the captured area of the *ist DS is
about 1.5 times smaller than a 35mm camera. When you would use a 150mm
focus point lens with a 35mm camre, you should use a 100mm lens with

Best online photo sharing site?05 May 2005 10:03 GMT3
I'm interested in sharing my photos online.  I'm not looking for one of the
free sites, but a site that is geared more to enthusiast photographers, not
just the average joe wanting to share their pics with family.  Any
suggestions?

I have 512 MB Ram of which the average 'free RAM is'247MB - my O/S is
