I already have a D70, and I'm looking for a really small camera inexpensive camera I can stick in my pocket that takes "decent" shots. The Optio S40 meets the size and price requirements, but gets a lot of mixed reviews on the Net.

Has anyone had experience with cleaning the sensor on their digital SLR? I change lenses often and predominantly use zoom lenses so I am at even more risk to get bits and pieces on the sensor of my Nikon D70. However it costs about $80 a time and the camera is away for 2 weeks

I still prefer film. In all these comparisons, they never address the fact that film and digital have different looks. The resolution, color accuracy, and noise ratings don't account for the different results of film and digital. It's like the difference between the look of movie ...
