May be a silly question to most but I would like to know, what the difference
is between a memory stick & memory stick PRO?
Just bought a Sony P200 with included 32mb Memory stick, wondered if I can
also use a memory stick Pro?

High resolution printers - marketing con?16 May 2005 20:43 GMT23
I have been wondering whether the higher and higher print resolutions
claimed by photo printer manufacturers are something of a con.
My latest printer claims a resolution of 9600x2400 dpi.  As a software
developer, the first thing I tried to do was to drive the printer mysef,
Any thoughts on the Pentax Optio S40?16 May 2005 20:01 GMT2
I already have a D70, and I'm looking for a really small camera inexpensive
camera I can stick in my pocket that takes "decent" shots.  The Optio S40
meets the size and price requirements, but gets a lot of mixed reviews on
the Net.
Cleaning Sensor16 May 2005 19:58 GMT33
Has anyone had experience with cleaning the sensor on their digital
SLR?  I change lenses often and predominantly use zoom lenses so I am
at even more risk to get bits and pieces on the sensor of my Nikon D70.
However it costs about $80 a time and the camera is away for 2 weeks

Re: A pregnant girl asks a judge16 May 2005 19:16 GMT6
You want a baby born into life whose father raped its mother?

You're a numbskull in this area, no doubt.
Can a 16.6mp SLR really outclass ISO 100 color film? -- Pop Photo Article16 May 2005 17:43 GMT17
I still prefer film.  In all these comparisons, they never address the fact
that film and digital have different looks.  The resolution, color accuracy,
and noise ratings don't account for the different results of film and
digital.  It's like the difference between the look of movie ...

Panasonic DMC-FZ516 May 2005 17:01 GMT7
I just bought one and am very disappointed to find that a user can not
change the degree of zooming when in movie mode; in other words, once
you select a focus that includes a certain amount of telephoto zoom,
you are stuck at that zoom level till you stop the movie and start a
Magazine like shots16 May 2005 16:51 GMT7
I saw wedding photos last year and they looked like "magazine shots". The
quality was superb and the photos almost looked like they had been painted
because of the finish. I wondered how this affect was achieved as I think
they were done in PS. Does anybody know what I am talking ...

Increasing the file size of a digital photo16 May 2005 15:39 GMT15
With Adobe Photoshop, when you use the "file" "save as" command, you have
the option of creating a large file of the digital picture, with the maximum
quality being No. 12. I have found that this can increase the original size
of the digital image substantially. In one case, the ...
