Can anybody explain this or offer any solution? I took a few hundred pics
today on a 1gb card. As I took each pic, I looked at the display and they
looked fine. Then when I got home and put the card in my PC, over 100 pics
have vanished? They were not erased and I am at a loss ...

How can I obtain the aperture angle (in degrees) of a camera when I
have the aperture (e.g. f/3.2) and the focal length?
BTW: What is the meaning of this spec?
       Focal Length: 4.5mm (35mm equivalent 37mm)

 I have an Olympus C-350 zoom.  I m really keen to try for some infrared
shots but can t yet afford to step up to SLR. Can anybody tell me if and

I'm looking to buy a 1DsMk2 in a few months and have used one recently but
did not have an apportunity to test it with long exposures at night. How
does it perform with long exposures ie 1-5 or so minutes (at 100ASA, ie
optimum image quality)? Has anyone here used it this way and ...

What is required to get a blue sky when it is not great (excluding post
processing)?
Graduation filters make the sky more interesting, polarizer's make it more
interesting, but is there a filter which is designed just for making skies

How many people have used extension tubes for "super macro" shots? I'm
getting into this now. Both these shots (dandelion puffs) were taken
with a D70 and a 50mm f/1.8 lens, plus a 36mm extension tube.

Am I wrong in thinking that the specs of the D50 are very similar to that of
the D70? If so, what is the point of the $200 (or 27%) price difference
between the two models? Could someone please give me a clue...
