I am a Linux Debian user, and I am looking for an application which will

With Windows I have successfully used software by Magix, which is ideal
A Good Free Place to Host a Digital Portfolio online ... ?20 May 2005 17:24 GMT1
I would like to hear some suggestions about good places to upload some

My Camera Is Fixed!20 May 2005 17:21 GMT8
Ok, so you guys probably don't care, but my camera is finally back
from those nice people who fixed it (and all I had to do was give them
lots of money). I pick it up tomorrow. As soon as I have a good

Compact flash to Sony Format?20 May 2005 16:20 GMT2

Over here home printing using the traditional 4-6 inks system cost about

Why no real wide angle P&S cameras?20 May 2005 09:42 GMT19
Was just browsing for wide-angle (<28mm) P&S cameras and there seem to
be none!! Why is that? No demand or high-cost of developing one to fit
a P&S cost profile or both?

What compact digicam has the biggest CCD pixels?20 May 2005 09:30 GMT107
Pixel size = CCD size in square microns, divided by total number of pixels.
Nikon D70: CCD = 15 x 22 mm = 330 million sq. microns, divided by 6 MP =
about 50 square microns per pixel, pretty good.
Random compact point and shoot: CCD = 6 x 8 mm = 48 million sq. microns,
