My cousin has a Olympus D580 . This camera is relatively an inexpensive 4 megapixel camera. I notice that when the camera is set at the highest resolution (2304 x 1728), downloading the jpeg file the size is approx. 2mb. On the otherhand, my Kodak DX6490 camera is set at highest ...

| Hi Res Photo Sharing Sites? | 27 Apr 2005 06:07 GMT | 11 |
I make large panoramas 10,000x1000 pixels and would like to know a site that can store and display them intact. I have been using Gmail's 2GB to archive the emails I send out with the pictures but sharing the password for the gmail account is risky.

I'm one of those people who has my camera in my cargo pants all the time, so when the photo of the day comes along, its gone before I can take the picture. So, I need to shave a little time off the picture taking process. I've

| Best service for selling photos online? | 27 Apr 2005 02:21 GMT | 1 |
I am starting to realize that maybe setting up my own shop isn't worth it, and that it makes sense to use an online service despite the fees. The thing I dislike about those services is that you can't have a custom look. I really want my "shop" to look classy and sophisticated to ...

| Ok, I'm here | 27 Apr 2005 01:40 GMT | 3 |
Now what? I love my FZ-1v2, but am seriously considering the FZ5. The FZ20 looks like a bazooka next to the smaller FZ5, and for all the benefits of having a hot-shoe, most of my FZ1 images have been captured without flash altogether.

| Digital camera adjustment | 26 Apr 2005 19:52 GMT | 7 |
Apologies up front if this has been asked 1000 times, just getting used to my D70 camera, changed from N80, and saw on a website that the Nikon AF 50mm lens on a digital camera was effectively 75mm. Is there a chart somewhere that has these adjustments? Didn't see it in the

| NiMH or Lithium? | 26 Apr 2005 19:08 GMT | 5 |
You should have both. Because NiMH self discharge you should have a backup set of Lithium batteries. Give the NiMH a week of no charge and you want to take a picture, just pop in the Lithium's for the quick shot and then recharge the NiMH's

Personally I'd like to see Will in a bikini jamming to some Creedence next to a Huey, a la Apocalypse Now.
