| rebel 350 v. 20d | 03 Apr 2005 13:35 GMT | 24 |
has anyone published a review of both images and handling of the rebel 350 and canon 20d - using the same lenses, taking the same pix etc? is there any disadvantage other than the perhaps 0.3 megpixel difference in their chips?

| Flashes and the 8800 | 03 Apr 2005 13:10 GMT | 1 |
For my upcoming birthday, I'd like to ask for an external flash for my nice new Nikon 8800. But I don't really know what to ask for. * The manual says "Use only Nikon Speedlights." Is this really a concern, or are they just trying to sell their own flashes?

| What's wrong with this camera, please? | 03 Apr 2005 11:55 GMT | 16 |
It suddenly seems to be clouded; all the images have a strange haloed effect on them. Any ideas would be most welcome. These three images average 30kb each. http://www.chirgles.btinternet.co.uk/samples/1.jpg

| Do highspeed CF cards make a difference on Canon A80 | 03 Apr 2005 11:06 GMT | 4 |
I talked to several people and I can't get a consistent answer. Some say yes, some say no. Do the higher speed CF cards make a difference? The A80 takes a CF type 1 card. If so, which make and models do? TIA

| Noise | 03 Apr 2005 10:49 GMT | 6 |
It is easy to decide on how many MP you want in a Camera and look at those since they are all using that stat for advertising. I believe one of the most important item in results is low noise. Does any one know what Point and Shoots deliver low noise at 400 ISO?

Just a short note to sing Jessops' praises. I just bought a new-model camcorder with the in-store price of £999 for £749, because Jessops was willing to price-match an online-only offer I found on Kelkoo. (Kelkoo listed 8 offers, from £749 to £916 inclusive; the lowest was from ...

| Online Printer . . . | 03 Apr 2005 04:41 GMT | 7 |
I just received my first order from Ofoto and have to say that the results are great. I'm very happy with the prints I received and will order again. The one thing that I'd like is the ability to select the type of finish they use, i.e. mat or glossy.

| water on my ccd epilouge (how a saliva disaster was averted) | 03 Apr 2005 02:10 GMT | 1 |
So the "water" on my ccd of my d70 likely is saliva... likely from when i tried NOT to sneeze while blowing dust off the image sensor, but the alergies are more powerful than my will, and there is a good sized smear on the sensor.
