Hi. I'm hoping some D1 owners can answer a few questions for me. I've been
looking for a good used (and cheap) DSLR and my local camera shop has
advertised a used "mint" D1 kit for $550.00 I plan to go check it out later
this week, maybe take a few shots with it.

Say I want to send somebody a full res photo. Can I zip compress either the
RAW image or a tiff with a reasonable decrease in size that will open
without compression losses?

(I'm looking at the Dimage A200) but the assccesories appear to be
rediculously expensive. Is this the way they make up for the cheap

I just brought up v 3.95 (was using 3.85) and see that it has
templates.  The default template folder has 3 templates in it.  I see
how to select a different folder of templates but I don't see a way to

I cannot find how to make Canon 550EX sync on 2.nd. curtain - with my
Canon1DMk.II - which of course is set to sync on 2.nd. curtain.

I use the bubble bag to protect the cam in my pocket but think i
should use a decent case.
I have tried google and found the canon case but poor remarks about
it.

When I got my new computer last year, I made sure to get a DVD burner
so i could make backups of all my digital photos.
Well, I've been farting around and I've only managed to make 3 DVDs
full so far, but that only gets me to about 2003.
