contrast and saturation in camera or software12 Apr 2005 23:59 GMT9
Does it make any difference if I adjust the contrast and saturation in the
camera settings or with software afterwards? If I don't like the results
from camera settings, can they basically be reversed with software without
getting any artifacts?

Hi, a newbie here with a newbie question.  The kit lens that came with

understand that this EF lens was designed for the Canon film cameras,
not the digitals. Does anyone know if it works just as good with the

Kodak DX350012 Apr 2005 18:20 GMT7
I have a Kodak DX3500 that is a little over a year old. It will not
turn on, even after putting new Li batteries in. When I turn it on, it
sounds like a clock ticking. After I turn it off it keeps ticking! Any
suggestions?

as IXUS) - such as SD400, etc?

Kodak DX4530 optional lenses12 Apr 2005 15:53 GMT2
Has anyone here tried the optional lenses Kodak makes for the DX4530? I am considering the telephoto lens. Any comments on the quality? Kodak's telephoto for this camera only magnifies 2X, I would prefer more magnification. Are there any other sources of optional lenses for this ...

Recommendations for compact camera (~$300) please...12 Apr 2005 14:47 GMT2
I'm looking around for a new digital camera and could use some advice.
Currently I have a Epson PhotoPC 800, which makes me believe that most

vacation/special occasion photo shooter, with a lingering ambition to
