The Canon BG-E3 Vertical Grip/Battery Holder for EOS Digital Rebel XT looks
like it is black.  It would visually blend better with the black body.  But,

EXIF Issues14 Apr 2005 18:43 GMT11
I've run into some problems with EXIF data that don't seem to have a
solution. Specifically...
When you rotate an image in-camera, the image isn't actually rotated (at
least in some cameras). Instead, the EXIF "orientation" tag is set to

photography.  She needs something small she can carry around easily

Canon SD 500?14 Apr 2005 15:07 GMT30
My wife is looking at the new Canon SD-500 7 MP for her first
digital camera. She's not interested in manual settings. I've
checked out a couple of professional reviews.  They're pretty
favorable, except they talk about image quality being less than
Re-sizing software14 Apr 2005 15:01 GMT5
I was recently given a couple of links to some freeware resizing
software which automatically resizes images to give the best results
for sending as email attachments or web use.
Unfortunately the program got accidently deleted and I would therefore
lens quality14 Apr 2005 14:40 GMT311
Hey folks -
I was looking at used MF equipment at my local camera store yesterday
and the salesperson started giving me a strong pitch on the Canon 10D,
which he said was better than a hasselblad in terms of quality. What
Pentax *istD can't exploit fast cards such as Lexar WA cards14 Apr 2005 14:11 GMT6
I raised this subject in a thread "Pentax *istD & Lexar WA technology -
any experience?". (No responses!) I wondered why my Pentax was only
writing to a Lexar 80x WA card at 2MB per second, although the card
supports 12MB per second even without Write Acceleration technology,
Digital camera's shutter lag:  Why are SLR faster?14 Apr 2005 13:31 GMT19

So far I have had a few camera the latest being a coolpix SQ, the
