Olympus E300 OR Canon Rebel XT (350) ?16 Apr 2005 07:28 GMT24
I saw an kit with 14-45 and 40-150 plus body from olympus, which has an 8MP
full size sensor.
Or better take the Canon 350 D ? (also 8MP) (bit more expensive)
Or can't I compare them, any experiences with the Oly ?
Photo Gallery16 Apr 2005 04:49 GMT7
Can anyone suggest an on-line gallery for my photos.  I need to be able
to require login for invited guests to view some personal albums,  and lots
of space would be good.
I like the layout of this site:
print sizes from 1984x1488 ??16 Apr 2005 03:52 GMT19
What is the biggest print size I can get from 1984x1488 high quality setting
?
Some articles I have seen say 8x10" prints, but when I asked the question on
a forum someone suggested only 6x4" is possible.

Best lenses for Canon DRebel16 Apr 2005 03:48 GMT5
As a newbie to DSLRs, having "graduated" from P&S cameras, I would like
to know what are the recommended lenses that I should consider, beyond
the original kit lens that came with the camera, that is.  The really
expensive ones are out of the question, but over time I plan to get at
Stereo Pictures Web Page16 Apr 2005 02:47 GMT6
I have put together a little web page to display my stereo pictures. I
have been working with stereoscopic photography since September 2004
and "think" I have gotten a pretty good handle on most of the
techniques.
Which would you choose: Canon SD300 or Panasonice Lumix FX716 Apr 2005 00:24 GMT3
I've narrowed down my choice of ultra-compact digicam.  It's down to
Canon SD300 and Panasonic Lumix FX7.  The Lumix is tempting because it
has image stabilizer and it's a 5 megapixel.  The SD300 is only 4
megapixel although 4 is really what I'm looking for.  The upside of
Digital camera not communicating with computer15 Apr 2005 23:59 GMT31
I have a Toshiba PDR-M4 digital camera that will not communicate with
my MAC iBook PC computer.  I have OSX and Classic OS9 software
installed.  The computer will only open with OSX and when I need OS9 I
then switch over.  Someone said the reason my computer cannot
Kodak LS753 + 6000 dock15 Apr 2005 22:11 GMT1
I recently bought a Kodak LS753 camera  and a 6000 dock. Kodak say they are
both compatible but
the camera will not seat on the dock properly as the small plastic

MACRO MADNESS WITH THE MIGHTY MP-E !!!15 Apr 2005 21:13 GMT33
Well sports fans, the day has arrived!
I have finally obtained the famous Canon 65mm MP-E Macro lens that I
have been coveting for some time.  I plan to take lots of cool macro
shots with this beauty.  It's a cool lens.  Just resting on the camera
Can I change incorrect 'picture taken on' date/time?15 Apr 2005 20:58 GMT15
On a recent trip, I forgot to reset the camera date/time to reflect a 7
hour time zone change. Therefore, all of the pictures taken have an
incorrect date/time stamp.
Because I traveled from East to West, some of the pictures taken in the

Cheapest camera with interval timer15 Apr 2005 20:24 GMT5
I was thinking that maybe I could combine my interest in kite boarding and
buggying with photography and take some images of myself on the board /
buggy but from a kite's perspective. As there is a good chance the camera
will be trashed I don't want to pay a lot for it. As I ...
Resolution for stock photos15 Apr 2005 20:18 GMT5
I was reading a Popular Photography article about submitting work to stock
agencies. It seems to indicate that it is necessary to submit images that
can handle 11x14 at 300 dpi. This would seem to indicate that at least a 14
mp digital camera would be needed and this shuts out ...
