| Measuring strobe's exposure without a meter | 17 Apr 2005 04:50 GMT | 2 |
I have temp access to a single strobe light setup but don't have a meter to see what aperture to set etc. Is there a way I can use the camera (300D) meter to measure the exposure? (I'm new to flash photography) Thanks.

| Which digital camera for 9 and 11 year old girls? | 17 Apr 2005 02:30 GMT | 11 |
I'm thinking of getting my two girls (9 and 11 years old) digital cameras as part of their birthday presents. Since these cameras might not last very long (kids tend to not take care of things as carefully as they should), I'm thinking of something pretty

| Suggestions for photo correction | 17 Apr 2005 01:50 GMT | 11 |
Can anyone suggest a method in PSP or in any other software package that can be used to edit out a white diagonal streak in a family snapshot? I thought that if I could take the streak and darken the colors and drop it back on the picture, it would look fine.

| BUYeRETAIL | 16 Apr 2005 21:49 GMT | 5 |
I ordered a Canon EFS Lens 17-85 mm F/4-5.6 IS USM from them on 4/2/5. No sign of it yet. Will I get it if I'm patient? Or should I cancel and buy else where?

Can anybody confirm that BQ 390 charger available at Costco is a dual voltage charger (i.e. works on 230v and 110v)? The costco description said "worldwide voltage" but the package did not say so. Even the employee could not confirm it.

| Sony DSC-p200 & memory... | 16 Apr 2005 18:23 GMT | 1 |
It's my 21st soon, and i'm after a decent digital camera that'll last me for quite a few years. I'm aware of the 1/40 1/60 shutter issue, but am willing to put up with it, as this camera's down to ?230 in the UK, which i think is pretty good.

| Battery charger (voltage issue) dilemma | 16 Apr 2005 11:47 GMT | 5 |
I'm planning to buy the Canon SD300. It includes a recharger and a rechargable lithium battery. This camera can't take regular batteries. I travel to asia regularly and they use 220v. I'd be in trouble if my batteries runs out of charge and I couldn't find a 110v to plug into.
