Request For Info: Automatic Slide Scanners21 Apr 2005 02:20 GMT3
I have a few thousand old 35MM slides that I'd like to scan into my
compooter. Obviously, I don't want to do this one by one. I'm thinking of
getting a used (via eBay?) scanner with a slide attachment for this
one-time-only job. Any recommendations as to what models I should look ...

My wife has a Nikon Coolpix 4300 with a Maxell 128Mb Compact Flash card.
Until recently she has been able to connect the camera to her PC and 'at the
press of a button' transfer the images to her hard drive (using the bundled
Nikon View software.)

Faint Lines when printing with ZoomBrowser20 Apr 2005 21:29 GMT7
I'm attempting to use ZoomBrowser to print out digital photos from my
Canon PowerShot A95, using an inexpensive HP 4110 - not really photo
quality printer, but I've printed off pretty good pictures in the past.
No matter what I do, I get faint horizontal lines in the photos, about
Canon 20D20 Apr 2005 20:03 GMT3
Question I have is, Can you set up the 20D to take a picture and have
it displayed on a monitor right away for viewing by the customer? IE:
Portrait sitting. In addition, is there a way to transmit the files
wirelessly to my laptop from a 20D?
Problems with HP and their printer drivers20 Apr 2005 19:20 GMT6
Just to make you aware of HP's practice.
I have a HP 7960. I created a business card, 10 to a sheet, using CorelDraw.
On my W98se computer, the first two cards are printed then the sheet is
ejected. However, I have no problems printing to my HP4p laser.

It was great but surely he had to know the cult following of the Barry

Simple temporary home wall hanging of 8x10's unframed20 Apr 2005 17:03 GMT14
I've got a big wall space to hang pictures, like 20 pics at a time, I've
done this with loops of masking tape on the back (or double sided tape)
in the past but it's hard to get off the print if you wait too long. I'm
not worried about damaging the wall. This is just for my own ...

The supply channel seems to be empty. I'd bet that Panasonic is busy right
now.  Sales must be remarkable.
