World's most expensive Kodak? - see for yourself!!21 Apr 2005 19:08 GMT4
See eBay #2956831922  -- looks like one of those eBay greaseballs is

Gary is a good man, Chuck. Unlike you who would make the babysitter scream.
Recommendation for a compact digicam?21 Apr 2005 17:05 GMT6
A friend, a very casual photographer, is about to end his holdout as
the last American to have nothing but a point and shoot film camera.
He asked me for recommendations for buying a digital camera.
The Panasonic DMC-FZ15 was the one I recommended most highly to him.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) April 19, 2005 -- A new technology has just been

Is there a way to simulate this effect while using the red filter on a
How much does photojournalism pay?21 Apr 2005 14:58 GMT12
I'd like to get into photojournalism as a career, but I hear the pay is
lousy.  Well how much worse can it be than the $1000 a month I'm earning now
as a souvenir photographer?  I'd love to hear from anybody who really knows,
someone who has actually earned their living as a ...

EVF on a sunny day21 Apr 2005 13:21 GMT9
My biggest complaint with my EVF camera is with the viewfinder.  I wear
eyeglasses and in bright sunlight I can't see the image unless I remove
them and jam the camera right against my eyeball.
A better solution might be a flexible rubber eyecup that would shade the

Nikon D70 and Cobra 700AF flash21 Apr 2005 10:39 GMT12
I've acquired Cobra 700 AF flash (for nikon) from Ebay.
When I plug it into the hot shoe the flash-sync indicator on the top panel
blinks on and off.  Acoording to the D70 manual this means the 'a
speedlight is connected which does not support iTTL flash' , fair enough,
What causes this error in .jpg's?21 Apr 2005 06:13 GMT6
Just got some pics from my Brother-in-law, three .jpg files.  They're
big, over 2 megs each, but something's wrong.  Only about the top
fourth of the picture is visible, the rest is a field of white dots on
a brown background.  I believe the background is just a repeated color
Sony - Download to Computer21 Apr 2005 05:54 GMT1
I'm planning to get the P200, but:
I have a Sony Mavica that writes to a mini-CD. It also has a USB cable. I
tried to use the cable to download the photos, but got a strange message
when I tried to use Windows Explorer. I'm running Win XP SP2 and Nero 6.
