While we only had an announcement of the Canon S2 I am sure the reviews

Is it possible to do exposure lock with Canon G6 ? how ? please tell
me steps.
I would like to get close to a subject lock the exposure aperture and
speed and then get far from subject and take the pic, is that possible

Looking for one that would contain cameras under $400,
pix count, lens info (zoom, f#), battery type, video
mode, flash

D70S, also there is a PDF copy of the Nikon leaflet.
Their pre-order price is £799 but would suggest looking around, wouldn't
want to encourage buyers to DSG.

Is there a program I can use to rename a batch of photos - like selecting
them in date order and renaming them 1 2 3 etc?

I'm a bit of a newbie to digital cameras but I did a bit of searchign and
settled for the Olympus C-370, it arrived recently and I'm impressed, great
camera, good quality pics, easy to use etc.
Just one thing is niggling me:  The battery life.   After just a few hours

What's a dead pixel?  What else do we test for on a newly bought
digicam?

How does one deal with different lens that use different filter sizes?
My current digicam takes 58mm.  The first thing I bought was a couple
of Nikon 6T macro's in 62mm + a step up ring and I have been happy

originally came with a "cradle adapter", is this device essential?

Has anyone experienced computer freeze (Elements window only) when you try
to save or save as.  The program worked fine for a short while, now as soon
as I try to save a file, modified or unmodified, the window freezes.
