| Sony to take over Nikon? | 05 Mar 2005 20:53 GMT | 11 |
Knowing that Nikon's top model (D2X) is using a SONY image sensor and looking at the statistics at dpreview, which shows SONY being slowly taking over Nikon's second place behind Canon in customer interest (see http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/stats.asp), I started thinking about ...

After several months of research, posting and reading here, I've finally decided about the three lenses to get with my 20D. I've decided not go with any of the kit lenses and stay with "L" lenses when possible. This will position me for moving up to the full frame

| Coolpix 5400 - low light issue | 05 Mar 2005 14:52 GMT | 3 |
Can someone quantify the alleged low light issue with the 5400? I've read many concerns about the lack of an AF assist lamp and that one "should not" buy a camera without it and that it is a limiting factor in the rating of the 5400. However, I have not found a description in

| What is exact CR-V3 open voltage? Why does my camera quit on 3.1 volts? | 05 Mar 2005 04:46 GMT | 2 |
The CR-V3 non-rechargeable lithium has a nominal voltage of 3 volts, allegedly. However, can anyone with a new CRV3 and a multimeter check the "actual" voltage which, I'm guessing, must be higher than 3.1 volts, because my camera quits when the CRV3 is at 3.1 volts.
