DotPhoto.Com08 Mar 2005 20:23 GMT3
Has anyone used or heard anything about DotPhoto.Com? They have an ad
in the March 2005 issue of Digital Photographer (p. 13). You can
upload your pictures, and sell prints to anyone who is interested. The
problem is that this sounds too good to be true. You set the price and
Creating different sizes.08 Mar 2005 20:16 GMT8
I'm sory if this has been answered already or is general knowledge.
Exactly what size is a 3x4, 2x3, etc. I'm on a Mac, using Graphic
Converter and Preview.  Thanks.
looking for a Windows video/picture player/organizer08 Mar 2005 20:04 GMT2
I'm looking for recommendation for a Windows XP-compatible
video/picture player organizer.  I've been using Ulead Photoexplorer
but it keeps crashes and locks up constantly.  A free/shareware
program would be ideal but I'd be willing to pay up to $50 or so.

Hello...
This is going to be a very remedial question for most of you; but will be worth
a ton to me as I venture forward into SLR territory.
Below is the text from B&H regarding a Tokina lens that will apparently fit the
AGAIN, please critique08 Mar 2005 18:25 GMT5
Hi all...
I took heed to all of the great info that I was given last week,
especially about my large gallery full of "cruft" wasting everyone's
time.  I spent the weekend reading up on photo editing and have been
Kingston CF/1024 and Coolpix 540008 Mar 2005 17:15 GMT4
Has anyone tried the combination of these two?
Only 256/512MB Elite Pro CF cards are listed as compatible for Nikon
Coolpix 5400 by Kingston's Memory Configurator. But all other CF cards
including CF/1024 are compatible with 5700.
Nikon remote ml-l3 - where to buy08 Mar 2005 17:08 GMT24
I am from the UK and have found it hard over the months to get hold of the
above remote in the UK.
Does anyone know a place in USA or UK that has it in stock and will deliver
to the UK, thanks.
Opinions on best video card08 Mar 2005 17:02 GMT7
Opinions on best video card for digital editing.....I'm using Adobe 7.0, Nikon Picture Project and Nikon Editor. Windows XP Pro OS ,  I'll be up grading the mother board/processor/ram also.
BTW.....I also use a MAC and it's set up fine, I'm just curious about the thoughts ...
Digital camera and windows xp 64 bit08 Mar 2005 16:47 GMT29
There is a beta version on the microsoft website of there new 64 bit
operating system, thats not what I am writing about.

made with 64 bit graphics in a few years when the technology is fully
Suggestions Needed on Broken Digital Camera08 Mar 2005 16:40 GMT4
I have a Sony DSC-P92 5.0 MP Camera that I bought new 18 months ago. I
noticed that the lens cover (the 2 plastic pieces that cover the lens)
was sticking for a few weeks, but I would just gently flick them open
when I turned on the camera.

What to Charge for Photos?08 Mar 2005 15:00 GMT17
There must be some rough calculations on this somewhere but I don't know
where to look.  If I receive requests for photo prints and just want to
break even on my consumables costs, what is a fair charge for say an 8x10
print?
DSLR or Nikon Coolscan V ED Scanner08 Mar 2005 13:52 GMT5
I already own a Fuji 40i Finepix digital camera and am quite content
with it. I also own a Canon EOS 300V SLR camera with a couple of zoom
lenses with it. My question is this, should I buy a DSLR camera ( I
have my eye on the Canon EOS 300D) or should I stick with my EOS 300V
Canon G6 & Conversion Lenses08 Mar 2005 13:03 GMT2
Canon states in the G6 manual that "the Wide Converter WC-DC58 and the
Tele-converter TC-DC58 for the Powershot G1/G2 are not recommended (for the
G6) since shooting problems may occur"
Please could anyone tell me what the specific problems are or point me at
