Im thinking its taken them 3 years to progress from 6 to 8.

Does True B&W Digital Mode Exist?14 Mar 2005 03:40 GMT37
I recall reading that if the sensors were dedicated to B&W, it would be
possible to get really great quality B&W images, just like film, similar

Pop Photo Test13 Mar 2005 22:29 GMT16
Looks like the Canon 20D cleaned house in Pop Photo's latest shoot-out
between all under $2500 DSLRs. Pretty good test, pretty good read.

Olympus Evolt E-30013 Mar 2005 22:28 GMT17
$1,000 USD, 8 MP, true optical SLR, Compact Flash, Zuiko
interchangeable lenses. Supposedly shakes debris off the CCD filter
with a 375 kilohertz (supersonic) buzz and collects it on "flypaper".

20D lockup13 Mar 2005 22:27 GMT11
It happened today with a 100-400 IS lens (which is kind of interesting since
I searched a few forums and found others reporting the same lens when their
20Ds locked up). My 20D has the latest firmware (it came with it).
My symptoms were pretty much identical to what has already ...

However, i have now upgraded to v7.0 PP and have noticed one thing is
500mm f/8 with D100?13 Mar 2005 19:37 GMT4
I have an old 500mm f/8 Nikon telephoto lens, but I can't figure out how to
get it to work with my D100.    Will they "talk" to each other at all?
I'd appreciate any guidance anyone has to offer.   Many thanks, Stuart
