Hello all!
My wife and I have been wanting to get more serious about photography
for quite some time.  Recently, with my daughters Karate blackbelt test,
I found my Kodak DX4350(?) had many issues that are tipping me towards a

Backfocus - no error with one lens; error with another lens?15 Mar 2005 22:06 GMT5
I tested the backfocus of the Maxxum 7D.  Links below.
For the 100mm lens, all seems well.
For the  50mm lens, it seems to focus camera side of the target.
Any ideas?
Taking Classy Cameras to Mainland China15 Mar 2005 22:03 GMT90
I've been toying with the possibility of taking a trip to (mainland)
China.  My parents suggested that I should avoid taking anything that
could be viewed as a luxury item.  So that might include my Nikon D100,
or a laptop computer to dump the pictures from it onto.
Next lens for 20D?15 Mar 2005 21:45 GMT6
I am hoping to find some recommendations from those who have experience with
the Canon glass and the 20D. I shoot primarily landscapes and nature-a lot
of time lapse water stuff, birds, forest textures. I bought the kit with the
oft debated 18-55 kit lense and have picked up a ...

Bad digital prints15 Mar 2005 20:33 GMT13
Today I have taken three digital prints 20x30 cm.
I always shot in RAW format to obtain the top quality. I have saved my
files in TIFF format to not lose details, but the quality of this
prints it's very very low, pretty a shame. Is it possible having bad

Beware Adobe Rebates15 Mar 2005 18:52 GMT122
I recently purchased the Adobe Premier Elements and Photoshop Elements 3
bundle from Amazon.  Amazon offered a $20 rebate on this package, along
wtih a $30 rebate from Adobe itself.  Little did I know what I was about
to get in to.

Earn a Free Digital Camera - Legit Offer15 Mar 2005 17:44 GMT20
If you're a "tech junkie" like me, then you know how expensive it can
be ... especially when it comes to electronics like cameras.
So, since I found this unbelieveable deal to be true, I've decided that
I've got to "share the wealth".
Epson 4000 Network Card?15 Mar 2005 17:23 GMT1
I am seriously considering an Epson 4000 and am wondering whether to spring
for the so called, "professional Edition", which includes a direct Ethernet
connection.
1.  Does the 4000 comes with  status monitoring software like their smaller
Rayovac PS3 Universal Charger15 Mar 2005 15:32 GMT9
Would anyone out there have any opinions on the Rayovac PS3 Universal Charger?
It's the one that can charge 4 C/D or 8 AA/AAA cells. I'm looking at this one
primarily because it can charge my NiCD C & AA cells (and later, NiMHs), and
it's in an acceptable price range ($40 CDN). Are ...
