green tint between camera/printer16 Mar 2005 07:37 GMT1
been to a mates house to try and fix a green tint on the prints from a new
digital ixus camera and an epson c42 printer. The pictire looks excellent on
the camera screen and also on the pc screen, the problem is that when it is
printed there is a massive green tint on the print.
NIKON - calibration reset?16 Mar 2005 06:48 GMT5

microprocessor I had been using to experiment with some control software.
The end result is that all of the automatic color balance options are
screwed.  Pictures come out pink or blue.  If I manually white balance,

postcards copyright?16 Mar 2005 06:17 GMT19
General photo question:  Are their legal considerations when making
postcards of holiday photos?  I mean photos of  statues, famous buildings,
bridges, religeous imagery on the external walls of cathedrals, that sort of
thing. In the EU.
Scanner Question16 Mar 2005 05:37 GMT2
I'm looking to buy a 35mm film scanner.  I'm considering either the
Nikon Coolscan V or the Konica Minolta Dimage Elite 5400 II.  Has
anybody had experience with either of these scanners that they'd like
to share with me?  My goal, of course, is both quality and ease of

I want to take pictures inside with a Canon  Digital A75 of rooms in my
house to post on a web site offering my house for sale.  I found that not
using the flash gave me a well balanced color and lighting in the picture.
But the speed was so slow that the picture is blurred.  I ...

Renaming digital photo/files16 Mar 2005 01:43 GMT7
Using an Olympus. All the photo/files that I download to my hard drive look
about the same (eg P3140001.JPG).  Is there a way to quickly rename the
photo/files so I can tell what they are (eg Birthday1, Birthday2...etc)?
Thanks, Craig

Epson 2200 still a good choice?16 Mar 2005 00:09 GMT16
For someone who can't afford an Epson 4000, is the 2200 with Ultrachrome
inks still the best alternate? Or is the new R1800 (?) a better option?
Output = primarily color photographs.
Thanx,
