| At A Crossroad With a New Printer -- Revisited | 30 Mar 2005 20:23 GMT | 8 |
Last weekend, I started this thread asking about using a Color Laser for printing photos. The responses, and I thank you all for them, suggested it would not be the best thing to do. Since then I have looked around and found the world of Dye Sublimation

I have a Canon S400 which is 4 megapixels. A friend just purchased a Kodak CX7430 which is also 4 megpixels. We both use what appears to be the "best" quality settings. I take the same shot with both cameras.

| 35mm processed to digital | 30 Mar 2005 15:27 GMT | 13 |
I still shoot 35mm on occasion and was using Walmart to have my prints developed. I would get hard copy prints plus digital copies which I could then get off their website with one click to download all the order's files in one zip file.

| Expected versus Taken | 30 Mar 2005 13:09 GMT | 17 |
A photograph of 3 helicopters and as I was lowering the camera I noticed the possibility of one more item going the opposite way. At lower left corner (beside the real thing) a crop from the original 2048X1536 photograph.
