Meandered by the local ma and pa photo shop (Yodobashi Camera) and checked
out the 350D.
It's _TINY_. Essentially unusable by my hands (scrawny with 10" span): very
awkward to hold. People who find the 300D too big will be really really

Is there such a thing as a 9D Konica/Minolta Digital SLR coming soon? Or
is it just rumor.
I was looking into buying the 7D but if its true a 9D version is coming
soon, then i guess ill wait for it. Does anyone know?

I have several flashes (e.g. Vivitar Auto 283) left over from
my film days with too high trigger voltage to be be used on
a digital body.
On eBay, you can buy radio-based slave triggers like this one:

oddly, seemed much better in black and white than in color... perhaps
attributable to all the snow and ice?  or contrasted against the rock
walls?
