Is it medically possible for a uterus to "fall out"?20 Mar 2005 23:12 GMT17
A female co-worker mentioned to me that a friend had her uterus
literally fall right out. Is that medically possible?
WASP culture and my sex crimes20 Mar 2005 22:55 GMT13
I'm jealous of WASP culture because white cops don't bust white people
for masturbating in the public library, just east asian mongrels like
myself.
I've heard people in America often say such things as, "We all have

Nikon 8800 vs. Panasonic FZ20?20 Mar 2005 21:33 GMT4
It is time for me to upgrade from my beloved Oly D-490, because
something has frotzed in its power management system.  I take a lot of
wildlife photos, so a good telephoto and a good macro are both quite
important.
Are Hubble Pictures Public Domain?20 Mar 2005 21:17 GMT3
I remember reading somewhere that all government documents are public
domain and reasoned that images from the Hubble Space Telescope are
also public domain.
Am I correct?
serial numbers on lenses20 Mar 2005 21:13 GMT3
Some of my canon lenses have serial numbers and on others I can't
find one.  I can't find one on my 28-135 mm IS lens, for
example.  My Kenko Pro 300 1.4 and 2x TCs don't seem to
have serial numbers.  Is this common for more mass-produced

IrfanView problem.20 Mar 2005 19:59 GMT10
I've been using IrfanView for a couple of years now, mainly with still
images. The problem is that when I view a movie clip from my Fuji

decompressor". The Micro$oft player runs these clips OK. However

Long lens for Nikon D100?20 Mar 2005 18:02 GMT9
I am planning a trip for late summer to Greenland and northern Canada.
It was suggested that we will see whales and other ocean life along the
way, and should bring a long lens to get decent images of them. The
longest lens I now own is 85mm, hardly very long even considering the
Pentax *ist DS versus 300D20 Mar 2005 17:39 GMT39
I know this is the kind of question that invites all sorts of comments, but
nevertheless I dare it.
I can get the DS for 1000 ? in a shop and for maybe 800 ? in the Internet,
the 300D for 700 ? in the shop. Both equipped with a 18-55 lens. I know
Which card reader is most reliable?20 Mar 2005 16:36 GMT22
I have a SanDisk ImageMate (CF card reader) that I have used for a number of
years.  It has been reliable and reasonably fast.  However, I have ordered
two 1G CompactFlash cards.  I contacted SanDisk and received information
from them that my current card reader probably will not ...
