Canon 300D and RAW files22 Mar 2005 03:24 GMT8
I am a beginner, so any help will be appreciated. I have a Canon 300D,
PhotoShop Elements 2.0 came as part of the software packaged with the camera
and kit. My question is..... Is there a plug in that I can down load that
would allow me to open the RAW files from my camera? If not ...
dumb question22 Mar 2005 02:51 GMT1
Old manual focus AI lenses will work on a Nikon d70 or Nikon D100 correct?
Also, what about  old preset lenses?
Thanks

Fujifilm f810/e550 firmware update online petition22 Mar 2005 01:59 GMT2
We are a group of fujifilm f810/e550 digital camera owners who would
like to submit an online petition to fujifilm for a firmware upgrade to
address a few issues. This has originated on the "Fuji Talk" forum on
dpreview.com (google fuji talk and it's the first link) and we plan to
Monitors, CRT of flat screen?22 Mar 2005 01:23 GMT12
I went to the Apple shop and saw their new display monitors, 23inches and
even 30 inches.  Conventional wisdom, at least so far, has been that for
digital photo work CRT are better, even much better.  But would this apply
also to the new Mac displays just mentioned? For one thing, ...
Bad Bokeh!22 Mar 2005 00:40 GMT37
Bokeh is the quality of the blur. Harsh rings around blur blobs indicate
bad bokeh. It should be soft. I welcome examples of good bokeh.

500mm ultra telephoto - any 'cheap' recommendations21 Mar 2005 22:58 GMT5
I am toying with the idea of getting a 400 or 500mm ultra telephoto but
cannot afford the Nikon prices. I have a D70 with a 70-200 f2.8 which is a
brilliant lens but I want more reach for wildlife and sports shots.
I've been looking at the sigma lenses but have no knowledge of ...
Remembering New England Summer21 Mar 2005 22:15 GMT1
Hot day when this was shot!
The barely visible land on the horizon is the Eastern end of Long Island N.Y.
The brownish sky is air polution (common over long Island and Long Island
Sound in Summer).
Problem in Panasonic battery charger21 Mar 2005 21:46 GMT10
I bought Panasonic FZ20 with an extra battery one month ago.
Now I have a problem: The Battery Charger does not work (no light in
the charge led, no power on batteries). Is there a way to fix the
charger by myself?
Evening city skyline21 Mar 2005 21:20 GMT11
I'm considering taking photos of city skylines in the evening/nightime. To
the eye, such a scene is basically dark, with the buildings appearing
pretty much black against a greyish/blue sky. Those buildings have
yellowish white lights in the windows. You might get a road with car ...
Canon EOS Digital Rebel Owners.. Quick shutter speed question21 Mar 2005 20:58 GMT6
could you please set your camera to Tv mode and try to set your
shutter at a higher number than 200?  Mine for whatever reason is
topping at 200.. I could have sworn the manuals says it can go up as
high as 4000

Sony DSC-F82821 Mar 2005 16:03 GMT22
I was wondering if anyone has recently purchased a Sony DSC-F828 and would like to share what their experiences are with the camera. I currently have the DSC-F717 and am wanting to upgrade to the DSC-F828. I am particularly interested in getting the F828 for travel photography as ...
Extra warranty worth it?21 Mar 2005 15:41 GMT14
I'm about ready to make a purchase of a Canon 10D camera and was wondering
about the purchase of an extended warranty that is being offered from
the place that I may purchase from.  They are charging $450 for a 2 year
warranty, and they basically state that they'd cover just about ...
