What are the advantages of 5 mp over 4mp, particularly with 10-12 x optical zoom? I will be using the zoom quite a bit and will also be doing a fair amount of landscape photography. I'd like to print 8.5*11 inch color prints of my shots, both zoom and landscape. Any

| I never figured out that buying a digital camera would be so difficult... | 25 Mar 2005 19:48 GMT | 8 |
As an amateur photographer used to an analogic Canon EOS-1000 reflex camera, but rather tired of carrying a big load, and not wanting to spend a lot of money on a digital SLR, I'd point out what I'd expect from a compact digital camera:

| Picture Quality | 25 Mar 2005 18:29 GMT | 28 |

| Online retailers/multiple identities ! | 25 Mar 2005 16:08 GMT | 5 |
An FYI for those who shop online. Read the article on p. 107 of 'Computer Shopper' for details. Briefly, it describes how many online stores use different business names and websites, but are actually the same company - even to the use of the same phone numbers. An example: 'Abe's ...
