Most scanners claim to provide 48 bit data. What application software can use 48 bit data? PS, PSP, ?? Does the Twain standard import 48 bit data from scanner to application? If I want to save the image before I am finished editing it, what file

I bought a Lexar Ultra II 4 GBytes compact flash card, and put it in my Canon 1D Mark II camera. It showed only 2 GB. I put it in my flash card reader on my PC. It showed only 2 GBytes. I reformatted

Anyone know the minimum requirements for running irfanview? I've got a .... Umm .... erm.... An 'Aquaintance' for want of a better word, who has had some photos developed, and got the pics on CD as well. Now she wants to view them on her PC.

Any suggestions on taking care of a sticky lens? I pulled some of my old lenses out (manual) and the focal length of one becomes very hard to turn towards the shortest length. Any ideas?

I take a *lot* of photos while riding a bike (pedal-type), keeping my camera in my rear jersey pocket. Trouble is, when I remove the camera to take a photo, if it's relatively cool, there's a lot of condensation that occurs on the lens. After five minutes or so it's usually gone, ...
