Has anyone seriously called B&H to find out if they are having any shipping delays due to the fire? I was just about to place an order for the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM lens when I heard about the fire (thank goodness now one was seriously hurt) but now I'm hesitant.

I have been tempted to use the DNG file format and switching from Nikon Capture to Camera Raw. Does Camera Raw Store the information inside the DNG file or are we still stuck with Side Car files? This has been a big issue with staying with Capture. I very much

There are now a multitude of these large zoom cameras on the market, including Canon S1 IS, Nikon 5700, Panasonic FZ20, Konica Minolta Z5 etc etc. Any recommendations or one's to avoid ?

When I got my Digital Rebel from B&H a couple months ago, the box it came in was beat to holy hell by UPS including tears and patches with their clear tape, and the B&H "inspect package carefully, if tape is broken, note in presence of carrier" security tape was broken on both
