Where can I learn the basics of color profiles and how to use them?

Have noticed many ads for 3, 4 and 5 mgs Digital Cameras and most
hardly mention the flash and some refer in the pictures of the camera
as it being a strobe. Any pointers here for a newby buying digital
camera regarding the flash capabilitys.

I have a Canon 20D and just received my now 10-22 lens.  My initial trials

Ever since I installed powerquest's drive image I've been unable to transfer
pictures from my kodak easyshare camera direct to my pc.  I understand this
is a common problem, but does anyone know if there's a way to fix it?
