Copyright/fair-use of other people's images11 Feb 2005 23:56 GMT100
Would it be considered a copyright violation if someone were to lift an
image from a photographer's commercial web gallery, upload that image to
another hosting service (Tinypic.com or Pbase, for examples), and post the
new URL with a negative review of that image - all of this, ...
Inkjet Paper Suggestion11 Feb 2005 20:17 GMT5
I own a HP 8450 and have been pleased with my color prints using HP's
premium glossy paper.  However I would like to try printing B/W on a
matt paper that is archivel, any suggestions on what to try?

Epson R200 Printer Cartridge11 Feb 2005 19:57 GMT4
I just replaced an ink cartridge on the Epson R200. Curious I was to see
what was inside of the old one so I dissected the case and was surprised to
see a clear cellophane covering which showed the "innards" of the
cartdridge. To my surprise, the cartridge still contained almost 1/4 ...
Kodak Imaging - ANY GOOD?11 Feb 2005 18:28 GMT4
A recent discussion here mentioned XP and Kodak Imaging.  I have XP
so I went and followed some instructions on where to get Kodak
Imaging.
Unfortunately the help text didn't come with it, so I am only able to
Nikon D70 and Epson PIM/Photoshop questions11 Feb 2005 16:40 GMT1
I recently purchased an Epson R200 printer to see how well it would do
against my old HP PSC 2210. So far I've been very impressed with the
quality of the output.

xD memory card speeds11 Feb 2005 16:07 GMT7
I am a newbie to digital photography and just bought a Fuji FinePix
E550 6 mega pixel camera.  Of course I need an xD memory card to go
with it since the 16MB that come with it won't hold much.  I had one
sales man tell me not to buy the one I found on newegg.com because that
EXIF data in video files?11 Feb 2005 12:51 GMT2
Is it possible to store EXIF data in video files?  I'd like to store
metadata with my video files but I don't know how to do it.  Is this
possible?
Thanks.
Fuji E550 - Is it limited to 3 sec exposure?11 Feb 2005 09:03 GMT2
I've been considering this camera for my first foray into digital
photography.  It seemed to mostly fit the bill, giving me essentially
what I have from my current 35mm compact (Pentax Espio 160), except I
keep reading that the maximum exposure time is 3 seconds.

Inkjet prints lifetime in photo album11 Feb 2005 05:30 GMT25
I am considering purchasing either the Epson R800 or the Canon i9900
printer. I'm planning on mounting prints I make in a photo album.  I
understand the Canon prints have a lifetime of something like 30 years
under glass in display conditions.  What does this translate to if the

Need help in chosing a camera11 Feb 2005 00:14 GMT5
I have been looking at all the review sites and have become very

Product photos?11 Feb 2005 00:00 GMT13
I want to take photos of products (food, small size items) on a table. I
want to shoot straight down, so a normal tripod won't work. What are my
options? I would like something cheap I can buy or make up myself. I'm NOT
looking for some expensive pro equipment. It would be best if ...
