Hi. I'm tying to get this beast to run under XP. I bought a USB/Serial

Nikon D50 in the works, D200 a hoax27 Feb 2005 17:16 GMT39
Someone posted a photo and specs of what was supposed to be a leaked D200
from Nikon. I just checked the US Patent and Trademark Office for "D200" and
nothing came up.
However.... <grin>
Which compact Flash Card27 Feb 2005 16:04 GMT3
I own a Nikon CP5700.  I currently use a 256m card from sandisk.  I am
thinking of a 1gb card from Lexar rated at either 40X or 80X.  Will I gain
anything in transfer write speed with either of these cards.  The 5700 is
not set

Hi, I have been playing around with panotools and ptgui trying to make
some good panoramic pictures and have run into a few problems that may
or may not be fixable.  I have a picture (well a few but the following

If it's dead, I'm interested. I need a "volunteer" to cannibalize for spare

In this case, they found a digital camera near the sight of the tsunami and
it turned out to have been taken by a couple who were later found dead. The
camera's card kept the contents of the photo & were thus rescued.

I recently purchased a Canon DRebel, worked great for a couple of weeks,
the other day I went to take some pictures and it wont power on at all. I
have two batteries freshly charged. I followed all the trouble shooting
techniques from the manual and the CR rep, no luck.

Any experience with USAphotonation?27 Feb 2005 05:05 GMT5
Has anyone on this newsgroup had any experience with www.USAphotonation.com?
I have a friend who recently bought a Nikon 8800 from them.  I am also
interested, and they seem to have very good prices.  His only "negative" was
that they *tried* to sell him all sorts of extra ...
Lenses for the 20D27 Feb 2005 04:16 GMT2
I am looking into the 20D and have some confusion on exactly what canon
lenses will work.  Can someone give me the details or a site to educate me
on 20D Lenses?  For example, will the Canon 400mm f2.8 L FD Lens fit it?
FD vs EF etc...

The .mov files are fun but also small.
