Advice for CF card for Canon A9515 Feb 2005 18:16 GMT5
I just got a new Canon Powershot A95.  I would like to purchase a new CF
card to replace the measly 32MB card included with the camera.  I have
been looking around and prices seem to vary greatly depending on the
brand.  I am going to purcahse a 512MB card and was wondering what
A95 File Number Problem15 Feb 2005 16:32 GMT2
I've had the A95 for about 3 months. Once the file number reset to 1 after a
reformat then everything seemed to work ok for a few weeks (I set the file
number to where it should have been by renaming in card reader). Now I've
just noticed it's re-using numbers, i.e instead of the ...

When will PMA annoucements be over?15 Feb 2005 14:58 GMT6
I'm waiting to see all of the new models announced for PMA before I commit
to a camera. As I understand it, PMA runs this Saturday through next Monday
or Tuesday - will most of the news be out by the end of this week, or will
some announcements wait until the end of the show?
Backpacks - any experience with Lowepro Rover?15 Feb 2005 14:14 GMT7
Does anyone have any experience with Lowepro's Rover AW backpacks? These are
models where camera gear is kept in a lower compartment, and personal items
can be carried in the upper portion. This sort of layout seems quite
appealing.
Canon S820D - Print Head Bad?15 Feb 2005 14:09 GMT5
How can I tell if my 820D's print head has gone bad or if I'm having a
different problem?
Until recently my photos have been printing very well.  Now, I get tons
of streaks and banding.  Print Head alignments and nozzle cleanings do

Photographing birds with a remotely controlled digital camera?15 Feb 2005 13:44 GMT8
Let's say that you hide a remotely controlled digital camera, which
can also be pointed with a servo remotely, in a hollow log or
something (possibly even a model of a bird!). Then you place it where
there are a lot of migrating birds and lay a cable to a hiding place a

I'm using an Epson R300 that has been set up with an srgb colour profile, as

much adjustment possible on my LCD screen)

book creator) and have had lots of error messages and problems using
Multiple exposures in =?ISO-8859-1?Q?DSLR=B4s=2E_Why_not=3F?=15 Feb 2005 05:12 GMT30
Why DSLR´s don't take multiple exposures shots? Is there any technical
limitation, like, sensor overheating, excessive noise, .... ?
My question is about the fact I don't want to make multiple exposure by
software edition. I want know if it's impossible by a technical limit or

Are these things reliable?  Do they slow a camera down?  And if they do
slow a camera down is it in such a manner that only a sports
photographer would notice?
Are there any downsides to these things (like power usage, having all
