Hoping someone can assist with ideas... I belong to a local camera club
and have a member chosen subjet as "derivatives" comming up soon.
Right!? So here's a few sample definitions:

C huck and JD need to get a bicycle built for two19 Feb 2005 20:11 GMT1
These flaming meatsword swallowers need to ride off into the sunset or
something before the stench of amyl and lube overwhelm the poetry and
biking newsgroups.

Dual Layer DVDs & general DVD questions19 Feb 2005 17:43 GMT3
Anyone try these for storing photos/data yet? This would be ideal for my
ever increasing collection of digital images. I'm looking at getting a Sony
burner and using Nero 6.6. Allso I want to get a DVD player.
Any issues with DL DVD or DVD in general for storage?
Canon Compactflash.19 Feb 2005 17:29 GMT7
I just received my new G6 and noticed that the 32 mb "high Speed"
compactflash card that was included was marked Sandisk on the back
and was also made in China.  This should answer the questions posted
about what brand of compactflash is most compatible with Canon cameras.

Film vs. digital zoom on P&S19 Feb 2005 16:04 GMT12
I would like to know if 3x zoom is the same on digital and film P&S
cameras.
What I mean is if I take a photo of something 100 feet away with a
digital camera that has 3x optical, and from the same spot I use
300D to be disco'd or not?19 Feb 2005 15:24 GMT5
Simple question.

How many pixels are in a megapixel?  I'm  looking to buy a Sony

Canon S500 vs G6 vs Nikon Coolpix 5400 vs ???19 Feb 2005 15:11 GMT1
I'm just starting to research digital cameras (for my first digi cam
purchase).  The choices are overwhelming!
Anyway, I've started reading some review sites, such as
dpreview.com, dcresource.com, megapixel.net, dcviews.com, etc.

Need expert help to select a camera19 Feb 2005 10:58 GMT4
I am looking for a digital camera and (like others) have done a lot of
*research*. The more I research into different models, the more
confused I am getting. So I thought I should take help from the experts
to make the decision and hence this mail.
Any opinions on the Nikon D1?19 Feb 2005 08:03 GMT9
Can someone tell me if this is a good camera and what it is worth? Thanks.
