| 50mm f1.8? | 23 Feb 2005 02:08 GMT | 29 |
http://www.tawbaware.com/canon_lens_test2.htm Seems odd so many people bragging about this lens. I guess for an $80 lens it's good but given how soft the center is wide open and the edges are even at f2.5, I don't see what all the excitement is about. Looks like just

When I go to print my photo, in the preview window the colors is much redder than it was when I edited it. It also prints that way also. I have a new color pixma 6000 printer. I am assuming problem is in elements.

Im getting a new camera and thought about getting either of Fuji F450 or F610 Whilst the F610 can do images of 12 million mega pixels the 450 has better optical zoom. The 450 is smaller than the 610 which is a little chunkier.

| Returns | 23 Feb 2005 00:35 GMT | 3 |
I would bet that 70 to 80% of most Camera returns is from lack of knowledge or improper use. Just like the one that returned his camera because it had spots on the blue sky, found out it was just dust on the sensor, so that one had to be repacked and what done with it, sold as ...

| Epson printers ... R1800, 1280, 2200 and Pro line | 22 Feb 2005 20:57 GMT | 8 |
This is an interesting write-up from an Epson dealer on the new R1800, comparing it to Epson's existing 13" wide printers (1280 and 2200), with comments on whether or not this ink set will migrate upward to the Pro line (4000, 7600, 9600).

| Anyone know where I can get a lot of photos scanned to digital media? | 22 Feb 2005 20:57 GMT | 10 |
I need to scan a hundred or so photos to create a digital picture show for my sister's wedding. The thought of sitting at a flatbed scanner and running a hundred pics through manually makes my head hurt. Any idea of a service that would do this for me?

| Lenses for Pentax *ist DS | 22 Feb 2005 18:48 GMT | 2 |
I've got the 18-55 zoom that came with the camera, and I've got a Sigma 28-200mm zoom that I had on my MZ-50 but still seems to work, although it has trouble focussing at longer lengths. I'm looking for a prime lens at around the 100mm or maybe 135mm mark. Are there any
