One of the reasons I bought my D70 nwas because of the lack of "shutter lag" and the very rapid response after turning the beast on. I've been enjoying those features and many others.

| Sigma EF-500 Super for Canon TTL Flash or 420DX & Canon G6 | 28 Feb 2005 21:54 GMT | 3 |
I already decided for a G6. Now I am in doubt between the two flashes above. I know the right one to compare with the Sigma would be the 550DX or the 580DX but I excluded them for the price.

| Difference between print and screen | 28 Feb 2005 18:41 GMT | 11 |
What changes about image detail, jpeg artifacts, noise, etc when printing compared to what you see on a monitor? I would assume the basic effect is a burring and loss of quality/sharpness.

| Case for Nikon D70 | 28 Feb 2005 16:18 GMT | 1 |
I just purchased a D70 and would like a protective case. The one recommended for the D70 looks rather thin and flimsy with a little velcro tab for closure. However, the Nikon case for the D100 looks like a more substantial rigid leather(vinyl ?) type case I have for my older film ...

| Canon PowerShot A20 camera problem | 28 Feb 2005 05:42 GMT | 7 |
Found someone selling a Canon A20 digital camera that has a problem: it will only operate with the AC adapter, not batteries. He says that Canon tells him that this is a "semi-common" problem that crops up in older A20's. Sez Canon will fix for $100. Not really worth it unless I ...
