Bad printing from Ofoto?31 Dec 2004 23:23 GMT16
Printed a calendar for Christmas.  Most of the photos were shot with my
Fuji S2.  Good shots, well exposed and  not retouched in Photoshop.
Many of the calendar prints were dark.
This was Ofoto's response:
Fuji Finepix 50i - can't transfer photos to PC nightmare31 Dec 2004 22:39 GMT2
Can anyone please help? On several occasions over the last year I've
searched Google to try to get to the bottom of this but I've not got

I have a Fuji Finepix 50i. It attaches to the PC via a cradle. It uses
Cameras with cradles?31 Dec 2004 22:37 GMT5
Hello People
I'm thinking of getting my first digital camera just for holiday/family
snaps & have been talking to several people about them, how they work,
mega-pixels, memory cards, etc. & everyone without exeption comments on how
Canon G6 or Digital Rebel or Nikon D7031 Dec 2004 21:48 GMT13
I'm in the market for a new digital camera.  In the past I had an
Olympus that I really liked until I dropped it and it broke.  Then I
got a Canon S200, mostly for its size not for it's super quality.  I
love the Canon, it's a nice "take anywhere" camera which has served me
Before and After sensor cleaning31 Dec 2004 19:52 GMT2
My Canon 10D was recently rendered useless by tonnes of rubbish on the
sensor. This happened when I foolishly changed lens while the camera
was on a tripod on top of a mountain on a windy day - I really don't
know what I was thinking of when I did it!

Selling Images?31 Dec 2004 16:16 GMT31
I am 'into' street photography' and have been covering local protests. Two
of my shots are being used on a web site to cover a current labor protest. I
was wondering if anyone had documentation to what you need to do so that you
can easily sell images to newspapers?
WTD:Photo printer reccomendations31 Dec 2004 14:50 GMT6
I'm looking for a photo printer whether a PC one that uses ink jet
technology that will allow bigger than the 6x4 prints or a stand alone unit
that is specific for Digital cameras which use Dye sublimation technology
and only allow 6x4 max prints.
Picasa31 Dec 2004 14:21 GMT12
What do folks here think of Picasa? (www.picasa.com , it's a free image
browser, basic editor).
I feel uneasy about programs that search my entire hard drive for media. The
way it says "Would you like to add all your images to Picasa?" was a bit
softness in camera...31 Dec 2004 13:36 GMT11
.. it seems to be correct to say that digital SLR cameras (generally
speaking) need their digital 'photos' to be 'tweaked up' and/or sharpened
using software AFTER the initial shot has been captured...
Lots of users on here keep saying with disappointment in their voices about
Top Bottom Post Issue31 Dec 2004 11:05 GMT60
Top Post Please.
I guess one way to solve this is for the original poster to place
his/her preference for future replies at the very top and then we all
will honor the request.
70-200 Nikkor31 Dec 2004 10:37 GMT30
I just bought a brand new AF-S VR 70-200 Nikkor  2.8 Lens, for my D100
Nikon, for a small fortune.
I used it a few times but has been totally unreliable with focusing.
It focuses once or twice when initially switched on but then it just can't
